YeongMi walked into her room, hoping to have some quality sulking time. The teacher had touched a sore spot - no, it was more like she had stabbed it repeatedly and twisted the knife to increase the wound. She wanted, needed time to mull over her bitterness and return back to her emotionless nature.

Instead, she found her room was invaded, overrun by her friends.

And him, of course. Namjoon was sitting in the corner as if he was trying not to get noticed.

Good boy.

As much as she wanted to kick him out - evidently the bitterness hadn't subsided - she didn't want to make the others uncomfortable.

As much as she liked them, she had spent all of her vacation with them, and despite being back at school for a week, they still hadn't given her a break. Was it too much to ask for one night alone, in the solitary of her own room?

Apparently so.

She accusingly glanced at Hyjoon, who just shrugged.

"Your window was open, I took it as an invitation."

YeongMi scoffed, "by that logic anything short of a gun to your head would be an invitation."

Hyjoon grinned, "and I'm pretty sure you don't have a gun, so here we are."

"You can never be too sure about these kind of things."

"Before you guys start talking about murder again, can we talk about how your meeting went? Are you expelled?"

"Oh darling, it was more of a date. If I was expelled she'd never get to see pretty little me again."

"Can we go back to what Jungkook said. What do you mean, again?"

"And since when are you pretty?"

YeongMi shrugged with a smirk, "her words, not mine. I prefer divine, godly, sexy-"

"Okay, we get it little miss conceited."

"Cute nickname, but teacher was nice enough to give me one earlier. I'd like you all to hear it from me first. I am now and forevermore Miss Pretty Little Problem."

"Troubling but cute, perfect for you."

"Minus the cute part - " Taehyung chuckled when YeongMi threw a careless punch to his shoulder.

Giving up on the idea of sending her friends off, she resigned herself to yet another night in their company.

Grabbing her first aid kit, she sat on her bed, pulling her foot up to rest it on her knee.

She hummed softly to herself as she unwrapped the bandage, gently wiping down the burns and applying more ointment.

"Ew, do you have to do that right now? And on the bed?"

YeongMi rolled her eyes at Yoongi's disgusted face. "Actually yes, I do have to do it now. And it's my bed, so you can't say anything about what I do on it. I'm the one who has to keep doing this for another 2 weeks, so stop complaining."

"It's not my fault you walked on fire."

"It wasn't fire, it was just the coals okay. And besides, you made me go to the party, so in some ways, it could be considered your fault."

"So, nobody else at the party walked on coals, nobody made you walk on them."

"And nobody made you come into my room, so shut it."

"Actually, Hyjoon made me."

YeongMi smirked at him, pulling her face up in amusement.

"Oh, and I'm sure you put up such a big fight, and resisted very convincingly."

"Bite me."

"I would, if you weren't such a repulsive boy." She spoke casually as she wrapped her foot up with a new bandage before starting on the other foot.

"For your information, I'm definitely delicious."

"Delicious? Really now?"

"Come on, everyone talks about my gummy smile. I'm guaranteed to give you cavities."

YeongMi scoffed, "so that explains why no one wants you."

"Can you guys stop flirting, dear god." It was Namjoon who spoke, looking irritated as he slumped in the corner.

"There's a difference between fighting and flirting. You should know that."

Namjoon clenched his jaw and looked away, not in the mood for a fight today.

That was a relief to everyone.

"For our sake, can you two please be civil." Hyjoon looked between the two. There was a commanding tone in her voice, but her eyes were pleading with them.

"Honey, this is civil." YeongMi felt guilty, knowing it must be awkward for everyone else to have her and Namjoon being in such an uneasy stand off, and she didn't want to make it any worse than it already was.

But still, if Namjoon pushed her she wouldn't be able to resist - she always rose to a fight.

It was like she yearned for them, enjoyed them in a sick, perverse way. Because she had grown up with fighting, and it was the closest thing to familial affection that she had. It was like home to her.

She realized that it was messed up, but really, she had no way to change it.

"You avoid a fight, and I'll avoid a fight. Deal?" Namjoon was surprised that she was speaking to him in such a way - it wasn't kind, but there was no insulting tone in her voice.

"Deal," he nodded, and a small smile rose to his lips.

She stared for a moment before looking away.
