YeongMi didn't sleep that night.

It was starting to catch up with her; she felt exhausted but whenever she closed her eyes, she felt restless and queasy.

Lunch came around, finally, and YeongMi realized that for the first time since her stay here, she didn't have to see a teacher for lunch punishment.

She had been too tired to disrespect or disrupt anyone.

She had no idea what to do; was there even a canteen in this building, or was it in the other one?

She didn't know where to go, or what to do.

She figured at least half of the boys' had lunch detention, but maybe Jungkook or Jimin would be roaming around somewhere.

Jungkook probably wouldn't look at her after her teasing from yesterday, but Jimin was sure to be a fun time, sexual jokes included.

As for the others, she was sure Yoongi would be somewhere being punished for being disrespectful, whether he was talking back to the teacher, or sleeping. Hoseok would probably be there as well, for not paying attention in class and being disruptive by being his usual, hyperactive, sunny self.

Namjoon could be in trouble - mostly, he got in trouble for ignoring the teacher, as he probably already knew what she was teaching, or, if he was feeling really daring, he could have corrected the teacher.

They didn't like that, at all. Namjoon was hands down the best student in the school, but that didn't make him the teachers favourite. Some of them even resented him.

Taehyung got in a lot of trouble for avidly defending his crazy ideas, such as that math equations were made up to brainwash Earth, and that in a years time, aliens would take over the planet anyways, so why should he study now when it would end up amounting to nothing?

Jin only got in trouble when he was with the others, mostly guilty by association.

Though, there was one time where an unlucky first year touched his Mario figurine and broke it.

Man, Jin had lunch punishments for 2 weeks. And everyone learned not to touch his things, unless they wanted to be hanging from a pull up bar by their socks.

It was a beautiful moment, really.

YeongMi followed the halls mindlessly, hoping to run into someone who might know where any of the boys were.

If she had to, she'd even go to lunch punishments with them just so that she didn't have to wander the school, obviously lost.

That was sad. Really sad.

Unfortunately, no one was out, except for a teacher, on break and searching the halls for any students breaking the rules.

Technically she was breaking a rule by being in the halls during classes, or lunch, but she didn't know where the canteen was, so she couldn't exactly go to lunch.

She was hoping the teacher would just let it slide - after all, YeongMi wasn't doing any harm.

But luck never seemed to be on YeongMi's side when it came to these teachers.

As soon as the woman saw her, she started running, calling to her.

It was as if she already recognized YeongMi.

"Ko YeongMi!"

YeongMi stiffed, her eyes instantly darting around to see if anyone was around to hear.

No one could know her true last name, never.

"It's Yi!" YeongMi's voice came out in a hiss, and the teacher waved her off carelessly.

YeongMi's heart was pounding - she was absolutely terrified that someone had heard, and gone to tell someone, to tell others, and then soon the whole school would know.

No, they couldn't. They wouldn't.

"I know it was you that ran off last night. I don't know how you got back in, but mark my words, I'll punish you for it. You can't be out of bed that late unless you're up to something, and believe me, I know you're always up to something."

YeongMi put on her best confused, innocent face, looking at the teacher curiously.

"Sorry miss, I didn't leave the building, I was very busy working on some projects last night."

"Why should I believe you? You have no roommate to defend you."

The teacher had her, and they both knew it.

YeongMi thought of arguing that she had no roommate to argue against her either, but she didn't need to speak, because someone else came to the rescue.

A warm arm around her shoulder, a sweet, dimpled face smiling politely at the teacher.

"Actually, YeongMi was down in my room, helping me with my music, and in return, I helped with her homework."

YeongMi smiled along with Namjoon, going along with the story immediately.

"Oh yes, and you really should hear Namjoon's music, it's absolutely stunning, really-"

The teacher gave them a doubtful, disturbed look.

"Oh, I'm sure that's all you guys were doing."

YeongMi's breath caught in her throat, but she just smirked so the teacher would drop it.

It would be believable that she and Namjoon had been doing, less than school appropriate things, more so than them studying.

She would be off the hook then, and Namjoon would benefit because the teacher would probably spread that word that he was messing around with her.

And, well, who wouldn't want someone thinking that they got to get with her?

The teacher nodded, judgement in her eyes, but she stepped aside, letting the two students pass.

As soon as they were around the corner, Namjoon pushed YeongMi against the wall to speak.

"Why did you agree with her?! Now she thinks -"

"Well, technically I didn't agree, I just didn't disagree, and you didn't either."

"Because I was surprised! And now that teacher thinks we fucked, and they'll probably tell other teachers - "

"It's not a big deal! There's plenty of worse things that they could think Namjoon, what's your problem?"

"Just, next time make sure I'm okay with what you let people think of us. This could affect my schooling!"

YeongMi patted Namjoon's shoulder soothingly, though it was intended to tease him rather than simply comfort.

"Namjoon, you're a fucking genius, you'll be fine."

Namjoon shrugged, and YeongMi pushed him away so that she could walk.

Her heart was still hammering from when he had pinned her - it felt like the movies, and she hated to admit that for a moment, she thought that he would kiss her.
