Chapter 4

Beep, beep, beep. I woke up to the sound of my alarm screeching in my ear. I looked out the window and saw the miserable London weather, it was raining heavily and didn't look like it was going to leave anytime before 1 o'clock.

I got up and threw on some baggy clothes and made some slightly burnt toast smothered in melting butter, I went onto YouTube and began watching videos.

After my 5th video I got a call from Zoe, I picked it up and she screamed in my ear. I took the phone away from my ear "Zoe?? What's wrong??" I exclaimed, she began chuckling, why is she laughing? "You're going to a convention with Dan!!" She shrieked, how the hell did she know? Did Dan tell her? I shoved another piece of toast in my mouth. "How do you know?" The toast muffled my voice and I wiped the butter from around my mouth, "I'm going to summer in the city with Tanya and Lou and when I asked Dan if he was going he said he was going with you" she explained.

"So are you??" She questioned, I sighed and rolled my eyes, "yes I am" my ears kept ringing from the shear volume of her squeals. "I'm sooo telling Tanya and Louise!!" She hung up and I rolled my eyes again, I could still hear her shrieks in my ear.

I looked out the window and saw that almost all of the grey rain clouds had been replaced with white fluffy ones. After I had finished the washing up I called Dan to see if he was doing anything today. Someone picked up the phone but it wasn't Dan, it was phil "hi Phil!" I chirped, I don't know why but whenever I was talking to Phil my mood always improves. "Oh hi Y/N!" He replied, he always has such a happy tone in his voice, "is Dan there?" I questioned, I could just faintly hear Phil calling Dan downstairs from his room.

After that I heard fast, loud thumping noises, it sounded like a herd of elephants stampeding. Phil passed the phone to Dan who was panting heavily, "hi Y/N!" His voice was slightly deeper than usual, it was quite attractive. "Hi Dan! I was just-" suddenly my phone battery died, for gods sake! I ran to my nearest charger and plugged it in.

2 minutes later I heard a ding, my phone was finally working again! I speedily called him back again, "hi Dan, sorry I hung up my phone died" I was anxious to hear a reply "oh hi Y/N, don't worry about it!" It was Phil again "listen, I know you were planning on going to summer in the city with Dan" what is he saying? Has Dan cancelled? "But I was wondering if you would like to go with me?" I was stunned. Phil practically stabbed Dan in the back asking me to sitc, "do you mind if I think about it?" I don't know why Phil was doing what he was doing "ok sure! Just give me a call later" I hung up.

I spent the rest of the day wondering around my flat, pacing up and down. What do I do? Do I tell Dan? Do I tell zoe or Louise? I don't know, I was so confused and perplexed. I slept terribly that night, my dreams were haunted with all of the possible scenarios playing over in my head. One dream was of Dan and Phil moving to separate flats and having the phandom torment me, another was me breaking phils heart and vice versa. No scenario seemed ideal but I had to choose soon.
