Chapter 2

My alarm began wailing at 8am this morning, I groaned and rolled over and began flailing my hand in an attempt to turn it off. Then I sprang up, my eyes wide open and I remembered that I was meeting everyone at the park today. I shot out of bed and had a brief shower, I got changed and dried my hair, I tried doing something slightly different with my makeup but decided to keep it normal. I got a text from Lou when I was eating my breakfast,

Louise: hey Y/N! Can't wait to hang out later! Make sure to be on time!

Y/N: I will! Don't worry! See you soon!

After getting ready I waited the next couple of hours by watching anime and YouTube until 12:30 rolled around and I decided to get a taxi so I can meet Lou there.

I got to the park and I saw Lou waiting by the entrance with Tanya I waved at them "hi Y/N!" Tanya chirped I ran over to them and gave them both a hug, they took me over to the rest of the group and I felt butterflies in my stomach and I started to get agitated. "Come on Y/N! Stop being so scared!" Lou started getting annoyed at me "I'm not scared I'm just nervous!". You see the rest of the group and you immediately notice faces, there's Caspar lee, zoella, Alfie, joe sugg and then there's Dan and Phil!

"Omg!! There's Y/C/N! Hey!!" Zoe yelled she ran over and gave me a hug, I laughed nervously and hugged her back, I hoped my inner fan girl doesn't start showing "hi! It's so nice to meet you!" She laughs and leads me over to the group.

I greet my idols one by one until I finally go over to Phil "hi! I'm Y/N it's great to meet you!" Phil gives me a warm smile and a hug, Dan still doesn't look up from his phone "hi Y/N! It's great to meet you too!" He was even more friendly than in his videos, taller too. Dan looked up from his phone as I approached him my heart began fluttering "hi! I'm Y/N! It's really nice to meet you!" His cheeks go slightly red and he coughs "oh hi, im Dan it's great to meet you too" he seems very shy, why though? He has loads more subscribers than me. "Don't worry about him Y/N he's a bit awkward around new people" Phil chimed, he giggled and Dan went bright red but I decided ignore it "Y/N! Get over here!" Lou yelled I waved goodbye to Dan and Phil and walked over to Lou, Tanya and Zoe.

DAN'S POV-

"Phil! Why did you say that??" I whispered at him angrily he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms "because I didn't want you to look rude!" He huffed "especially since you like her" I turned my head and glared at him with wide eyes and scoffed "I don't like her!" I stared at the floor, so maybe I do like her a bit but it's not like she would like me especially since I was so rude to her earlier. "You do and you know you do Dan and if I were you I would try talking to her" after arguing with Phil for about five minutes he forced me over there, I saw the girls standing in a circle, then zoe saw me coming and a grin spread across her face and I turned and walked back to Phil.

"What was that Dan?" Phil laughed, I was probably more red than a tomato now and Phil wasn't helping, I could see Zoe whispering to tanya, they both giggled and I just kept staring at my phone.
