Chapter 42 // part 1

Your POV-

"Here we are!" Zoe pulled up to the national theatre "it's massive" I looked at the building in awe "come on Y/N, the party's already started!" Zoe snapped me out of my day dream and I immediately opened the car door and jumped out "party time!" Zoe squealed, grabbed my hand and then pulled me along to the front doors.

"Y/N! Zoe! There you are!" Louise walked up to both of us with open arms "hey Louise" I smiled at her and hugged her. I looked around, we were stood in a little outside area with a glowing box in the centre of the space where food was being served, everywhere I looked there were YouTubers. Even though I knew all of them it was still kind of daunting "sorry we're late, Y/N took like 3 hours to get ready" I gave her the evils but Louise just laughed it off "don't worry about it, you guys aren't the last people to arrive, Dan and Phil still aren't here" I looked back over at Zoe again "well thanks for telling me my ex is going to be coming Zoe!" Louise looked at her in shock "why didn't you tell her Dan was coming?" Zoe rolled her eyes and crossed her arms "because if I had told you you would've never come" that's true but she still should've given me some kind of heads up "and it is a YouTuber party, if you used common sense it should've been obvious" that's true too but still! She should've told me.

I wasn't in the mood to mingle so I just walked to the opposite side of the space and sat down on a little deck chair. I looked at the London skyline and just kept thinking about what video I was going to make next. That was until I felt someone tap my shoulder "hi" I turned around to see Dan in a suit smiling at me "please don't talk to me" I turned back around and tried to ignore him "Y/N please don't be mad at me, I broke up with you because I love you and I didn't want you to keep getting hurt" I rolled my eyes and stood I up "is your ass jealous of the amount of shit that just came out your mouth?" I was beyond done with his shit, he just looked at me in shock "I-" I walked away from him "goodbye Dan".

Thanks to mr shit head over there, I had to interact with other people. "Hey Y/N!" Sean bounced up to me and I was a tiny bit startled, he looked good in a suit "hey Sean! How you doing?" I smiled "ok I guess, there's no god damn Pokemon here!" We both laughed "sooo, how's things with you and Dan?" I folded my arms and rolled my eyes "he broke up with me as soon as I got out of hospital" Sean looked shocked "what? That must've been horrible! Why did he break up with you" I love Sean, he's always so considerate of other people "he said that he didn't want me to keep getting hurt" Sean raised his eyebrows and nodded "I'd give him another chance, he did only do it to protect you" why is everyone taking his side? "And he's obviously still in love with you" I took it all into consideration and nodded "thanks Sean, I'll think about it".

Dans POV-

I'm such a fucking idiot. Why did I have to break up with Y/N? I hate myself so much. Y/N will never date me again. I need to get drunk.

I walked over to the crowded buffet tables and grabbed a glass of red wine, the music here was ok, American boy by estelle, I love that song. I tapped my feet to the music as I drank copious amounts of alcohol. "Hey Dan, are you ok?" I looked over and saw Chris "hey Chris, yeah I'm ok, just a bit upset" he nodded sympathetically "where's Y/N?" I don't know why but when Chris said her name I felt a tear fall down my face "Dan?" He put his hand on my shoulder "I broke up with Y/N" I wiped my tears away and Chris gasped "what? Why?" I explained the situation to him "for fucks sake Dan, instead of standing around here moping you need to go and fight for her! Properly this time!" He was right, I need to stop being a little bitch.
