It was 9am on Christmas morning and I had opened the front door to see Y/N with a massive grin spread across her face "Merry Christmas love!" She ran into my arms and I lifted her up, she wrapped her legs around mine so that she didn't fall off and I kissed her "merry Christmas bear" we both smiled at each other and I just stared into her gorgeous eyes, I need to spend the rest of my life with her.
"Merry Christmas Y/N!" Phil hugged her and she hugged back "merry Christmas Phil!" After they stopped hugging I crept up behind Y/N and covered her eyes with my hands, making her giggle "what are you doing?" I sniggered at her cluelessness, moved her to the tree and sat her down "tada!" I removed my hands and she gasped "you got me a present?" She looked over at Phil and I and I nodded "what could it be? It's so small" it felt like my heart was jumping around in my chest, I was beyond nervous.
"Open it! I can't take the suspense!" I shuffled around so that I could see her reaction "ok" she slowly peeled off the wrapping paper and looked at me with tears in her eyes, I gently took the box from her hands and opened it "Let's make a plan, ten years from now, we'll tell our children the story of how I proposed to you" inside the box was a glistening diamond ring "Y/N, will you marry me?" She covered her mouth with her hands and cried tears of joy, I laughed at her reaction "yes yes yes yes yes!!" She threw her arms around me and squeezed me tightly "I love you so much" she bawled "I love you too".
