Chapter 26

Your POV-

"Hey Y/N" I felt my heart flutter when I heard dans voice "hi Dan" I tried to remind myself not to fall for him so quickly, I needed to take things slow "I hope you don't mind, I've planned a special date for us!" My mind began buzzing with questions, where is he taking us? Will I like it? What if I don't like it? "Where are we going?" I asked "it's a surprise" I groaned, I hate surprises "I'll give you a hint, it involves a wheel" a wheel? That's so confusing "that's not a very good hint" he laughed "it is! Your just going to have to figure it out for yourself" he kept giggling at my frustration "fine" I rolled my eyes "Anyway, I booked it for Friday at 7:30pm" I heard Phil in the background "i have to go, Phil's calling me" I'm glad their friends again "ok, I'll see you Friday" I then hung up.

I threw my phone on my sofa and sat down next to it, I suddenly realised how much I missed having another person around, Dan had Phil, Louise had her family, Zoe had Alfie and I had no one. I grabbed my laptop from my room and began looking around for a decent roommate, after an hour of searching I found the perfect person! Her name was Alexa, She was my age, we had similar interests, she lived in London with her family already and she was a YouTuber! She had a phone number attached so I decided to call her. "Hey! I saw you needed a room in London?" I began "yeah! Thank you for contacting me!" She had such a soothing voice "no problem! I saw you were a YouTuber?" We had a little bit of small talk, I asked her some questions so that I knew she wasn't shady "enough about me, what do you do for a living?" Decision time, do I tell her I'm a YouTuber or not? Will she treat me differently if I do? "Um, I'm a YouTuber like you" my heart rate had sped up a little "really? Cool! how many subs do you have?" I scratched my neck with my free hand "14 million.." She gasped "14 MILLION? That's so many!" I laughed awkwardly "yeah, I guess it is" hopefully she wont suck up to me "well I think we're perfect roommates! When can I move in?" A bit sudden to be making plans, we have only had one phone call "uh maybe next week?" I suggested "sure! I'll start packing!" She hung up.

I immediately started to tidy my flat, it looked like an actual war zone. I spent the rest of my day tidying, vacuuming, dusting and throwing stuff away and by the end of it I felt quite productive. I slouched on my sofa, I just have to keep it this way until Alexa moves in, the more I thought about Alexa the shadier she got, she hadn't asked to check out the property yet, she hasn't even seen me in person and she was extremely eager, maybe I shouldn't get a roommate. I brushed those thoughts off, she seems like a nice enough girl, it's not like she's going to try and kill me in the middle of the night.

I immediately hopped onto Twitter to drop hints about Alexa 'hey guys! Your going to see a very special and important person in my next video😏' I spent the rest of my day laughing at how terrified and excited everyone was 'is it a new boyfriend??', 'DONALD TRUMP' of course there would be a Donald trump comment. I looked at the time, it was 9:30 and I was so tired from cleaning all day that I was practically falling asleep, I hopped into bed and went on my phone for about an hour before finally going to sleep.

Dans POV-

I was scrolling through my Twitter feed, Phil was in the kitchen making us a late night snack of tea and crumpets, I suddenly stumbled across Y/N's tweet 'hey guys! Your going to see a very special and important person in my next video😏' who was she talking about? Maybe a family member was coming to visit? "Here you go Dan" I looked up from my phone and saw Phil holding out a cup of tea and a crumpet "thanks, have you seen Y/N's tweet?" I dropped my phone and took the crumpet and tea "no, what does it say?" I read the tweet aloud to him as he went back into the kitchen to get his crumpet and tea "who do you think she's talking about?" He sat down next to me and bit into his crumpet "I have no idea" I started to get a bit anxious so Phil decided to watch 'your lie in April' to help me relax a bit. I was still worried about Y/N, I hope she doesn't get herself in trouble.
