Chapter 38

Le time skip~

Your POV-

"Hey love!" Dan, Phil, Louise and Zoe all bounced into my room "hey bear! Hi guys!" They all looked really happy "look at you! You're finally sitting up!" Zoe gave me a gentle hug so that she didn't aggravate my wounds "when are you allowed out?" Louise asked me "the doctor said that if everything goes well for the rest of the day then I can come home by 7pm" just the thought of going back to my nice warm bed made a massive grin spread across my face "Y/N that's brilliant!" Louise squealed "also, we've all been fixing up your flat and it looks good as new!" I wanted to jump out of my bed and give them all massive hugs "thank you guys so much!!" I started to cry tears of happiness "you are the best friends anyone could ask for!" They all walked up to me and gave me a big, but gentle, group hug and I hugged back.

Suddenly the doctor came in "hello Y/N, how are you feeling today?" I smiled at the doctor "I feel great!" I chirped "great enough to go home?" I was so excited, the first thing I'm going to do when I get home is binge watch Netflix so that nobody can spoil stranger things for me "yeah!" Dan, Phil, Zoe and Louise all listened to the doctor and I talking intently "if your stats are good enough I may be able to send you home early" I looked over to Dan who was grinning from ear to ear "I just need to check a few things and you should be good to go".

Dans POV-

Once Y/N is back at home and settled in I had to brake up with her, just the thought of it brought me close to tears, I didn't want to brake up with her but it was the right thing to do. "Are you ok Dan? You look a bit down" Zoe looked at me, obviously concerned "yeah I'm fine, just a bit tired" she nodded and I looked back at Y/N "I can't wait to get home!" I tried to mimic her excitement, plastering not a fake smile on my face. As we were all talking the doctor spoke up "well everything seems great here, I think you can go home" Zoe and Louise jumped up and down, laughing in joy and ran to Y/N to give her another massive hug. "Let's go! I don't want to spend another second in this hospital, no offence" the doctor laughed "none taken".

"Ahh, it feels great to be home" Y/N flopped on the sofa and wriggled into the pillows and sniffed them "no more hospital smell" I had volunteered to take Y/N back home so that I could talk to her in private, I sat next to her and she automatically rested her head on my lap but I felt guilty so I gently lifted her up "wha- what's wrong?" She looked extremely confused "look Y/N, I love you more than words can express and I'm not just saying that" the smile left her face "but this relationship has caused more harm than good" I saw a tear form in her eye which made me feel horrible "I don't want to see you keep getting hurt over me" she stood up, no longer sad but aggressive "you decide to tell me this now??" She looked disgusted "I just got out of fucking hospital you prick!" She screamed through her teeth "woah Y/N, calm down" I didn't want her to aggravate her injuries "FUCK YOU DAN HOWELL" she yelled "IM NOT GOING TO BE YOUR PLAY THING ANY LONGER" the funny, exciting Y/N that I fell in love with has been turned into an angry monster "YOU HAVE MESSED WITH MY LOVE ONE TOO MANY TIMES!!" She slapped me hard around the face and flipped me off "I SINCERELY HOPE THAT I NEVER SEE YOUR FACE EVER AGAIN YOU SELFISH PIECE OF SHIT" I immediately regretted my decision "NOW LEAVE MY HOUSE!!" She pointed to the door and I looked at the door "but Y/N, I still love you I just-" she shushed me "NO MORE BULLSHIT EXCUSES HOWELL" I started at her, she was so intimidating when she's angry "Now kindly FUCK OFF" She flipped me off and so I did as she said and left.

Your POV-

I'm done with Dan, all it's done is cause me heart ache and sadness. It's time I move onto someone who will treat me properly and not break up with me every 5 seconds. I sat back down and went through the things I said in my head, sure I over reacted a bit but he deserved it, what kind of idiot brakes up with their girlfriend right after they got out of hospital? His ex was the one who put me in there in the first place! I kept mumbling profanities to my self and squeezing a pillow, pretending it was dans head. "Fucking Dan" I whispered angrily "he thought I would be chill with him breaking up with me" seriously what the hell was going through his head? 'I'm going to break up with Y/N because being in a relationship with her is too hard' he didn't do it because I kept getting hurt, he did it to save him some effort. Well I'm going to give him what he wants, I'm going to move on to someone much better and who will treat me better than he ever could.
