Chapter 28

Your POV-

"Hey Y/N! Are you ready for our date?" I was in my room trying to pull my socks on "almost, I just need to get these damn socks on" he laughed "ok, I'll be there in five minutes" I finished getting my socks on and I stood up "okay see you then".

I grabbed my shoes and sat down in the living room "are you going on your date?" I looked up and saw Alexa standing over me "yeah, I'll be back soon" I assured her "don't worry about it! I'll be fine here!" Suddenly I heard a knock on the door "I'll get it!" I heard the door opening "oh hi Dan!" As awkward as it must be for Dan, I would love too see the look on his face right now "hi Alexa" he sounded so bitter "is Y/N ready?" I pulled on my last shoe and stood up "I'm coming!" I rushed to dans rescue "bye Y/N! Bye Dan! I hope you have fun!" I gave Alexa a smile before taking dans hand "bye!" She shut the door behind us and Dan took me too the taxi.

Dans POV-

"Can you tell me where we're going now?" I grinned "not yet" I looked into my rucksack to make sure the champagne and glasses weren't smashed "by the way, what's in that bag?" She leaned over me and tried to look inside "no!" I pulled the bag shut, she rolled her eyes "fine, have it your way".

After our taxi drive we both hopped out the car and looked up at the London eye, it was bigger than I thought it would be "are we going on the London eye??" She jumped up and down "yep!" She gasped "I've always wanted to go on it!" I held her hand and we both started to walk to the queue.

Your POV-

Once we reached the queue, people began staring at us but we ignored them. "Are you ready?" Dan asked me, I nodded at him and he handed our tickets to the lady in the booth "have fun!" The lady chirped, I looked at her name tag "thank you Amelia" I smiled at her and she took our tickets. We waited for 5 minutes while the people in the capsules came down, Dan started to whisper something to Amelia and she nodded "she's going to give us our own capsule" Dan smirked "really? Why?" I asked "it's part of our date" Amelia started to brief everyone on the safety rules and stuff like that before we were lead to the capsules. "Okay can we have you two in here, be quick!" Dan grabbed my hand again and led me through the capsule doors "look" Dan turned my head around to see an amazing sunset "it's so beautiful" I walked up to the very edge of our capsule and pressed my hands against the glass "not as beautiful as you" I looked up at Dan and he smiled at me, I felt my cheeks going red.

"oh! I almost forgot" he dropped his bag and pulled out a bottle of champagne and two glasses "surprise!" He started to pour the champagne into one glass "you are a genius" he handed me the glass and started to pour some for himself "why thank you" I took a sip from my glass and continued to stare at the sunset, Dan finished pouring his drink and joined me. As I was taking my last sip of champagne I noticed Dan was staring at me softly, I felt a small smile make its way onto my face.

I suddenly noticed that our capsule was getting closer and closer to the ground, I groaned "time to get off" Dan placed the champagne bottle and our glasses back in his bag "where are we going now?" I asked him "I thought maybe we could go to a club? Or go back to mine" I pondered my options, going to a club would be fun and I'd get to go to a place where people would be too busy to notice who I am and I could get drunk or I could go back to dans place which would be, pleasurable, to say the least. "Let's go to a club, it will be fun" he nodded "drinks are on me".
