Hollyleaf was running towards her, now that she was freed. But a StarClan cat named Bubblefur jumped in front of her – blocking Hollyleaf's path – while yowling, "Noo!" Hollyleaf hissed and lashed out, slicing open his throat instead of Stargleam's. The StarClan spirit faded away as Bubblefur died.
Stargleam would've been really upset, but her kits were coming! She almost screamed out in pain, but since she was a strong, brave cat, she didn't. It hurt a lot, though. There was a lot of pain in her stomach, and suddenly there was blood everywhere, pouring out onto the grass! She looked down to see that there was a break in her stomach. Hollyleaf was finished with Bubblefur, so she was charging at her again.
"Noo!" Stargleam wailed in fear. Just as Hollyleaf was about to land a blow, she was bowled over by Bluestar! Stargleam watched in anger as Bluestar pinned Hollyleaf and put her claws to the other's throat. She made Hollyleaf slip into unconsciousness. But before Hollyleaf was knocked out, her claws managed to slit Bluestar's neck! Crimson, sparkling blood leaked from the slash.
"I love you, Jazzstar. I always had," Bluestar murmured before she fell over and died.
"Bluestar! No!" Stargleam cried.
The she-cat giving birth was so sad... and the pain she was enduring hurt so badly. But looking at Bluestar's body filled Stargleam with hope, so she pushed, no matter how painful it was.
And the kits came out! [This is making me really uncomfortable...]
