"Oh no, it's Hollyleaf!" yelled Firestar. He panicked and raced away. Sandstorm chased after her Clan leader.
Stargleam looked up at Hollyleaf. The black traitor was with another cat, who approached close behind her.
"Oh my gosh, it's Tigerstar!" Stargleam exclaimed, then hissed at her two enemies. "What will we do?"
"We fight," declared Jayfeather. The tabby medicine cat leaped at his sister. But it wasn't enough. Stargleam watched in horror as Hollyleaf lashed out, killing her father with one hit.
"You killed my father!" the purple warrior howled before lunging at Hollyleaf. The black warrior quickly jumped out of the way, causing Stargleam to attack Tigerstar instead.
Both of the fighting Clans stopped and gasped as Tigerstar died once again.
"You killed Tigerstar!" Firestar shouted at Stargleam as he returned. "You are, without a doubt, special!"
Stargleam was overjoyed – too overjoyed, in fact. She didn't notice Hollyleaf attacking, knocking out, and dragging Firestar away.
"Oh, no!" Stargleam cried out once she snapped out of her trance. "We have to save him!" WindClan retreated, and the ThunderClan warriors nodded, eager to obey Stargleam.
