"Oh no, Brokenstar!" Gleamstar cried out. "I can't be talking to Brokenstar!" And she ran away, leaving Ashfur behind. She raced through the Dark Forest, and eventually crossed a bright white border. Gleamstar stopped and realized that she was in StarClan!
Yay! I'm not in the Dark Forest anymore! the she-cat thought happily, and then she started to pad through the beautiful, star-filled forest.
"Welcome to StarClan," Yellowfang purred. She was standing there with Brambleclaw, Spottedleaf, Featherwhisker, and Blackstar.
"Blackstar! You're not in the Dark Forest!" Gleamstar cheered. She didn't want him to be there. Maybe she loved him after all!
"Of course not," Blackstar nodded. "Why would I be there? After all, I loved you too much."
"Well, that's true," Gleamstar realized, then gasped. "But I can't be in StarClan! I already came here once! I can't do it again!"
"Well, it looks like you have," Bluestar meowed, then said, "But we can't send you back to the Clans again. This time, we'll have to reincarnate you."
"Oh my gosh, reincarnation!" Gleamstar squealed. "You mean like what happened to Cinderpelt?"
"Yeah," Cinderpelt nodded, approaching her. "That's what happened to me when I was reincarnated."
"But it might take a while," Spottedleaf meowed. "After all, we have to figure out how we're going to do that first. For now, you can go do something else."
"Okay," Gleamstar nodded, and she left. She heard her name being called, then turned to see Hawkfrost on the Gathering Island, mourning for Gleamstar over her body.
"Gleamstar! Noo!" he yowled. "StarClan, how could you do this to me?! We were about to get married!"
"I'm sorry, Hawkfrost," Gleamstar said, her spirit standing next to him. "I'll be back soon, I think."
"Wait, who's there?" Hawkfrost wondered, looking around.
"It's me, Gleamstar," the purple StarClan spirit replied.
"I can't see you," Hawkfrost said confusingly before bumping into a tree and falling over.
"Bye, Hawkfrost!" Gleamstar mewled, and she left because she didn't want to see what would happen to her beloved. Hawkfrost awoke just as she left.
"Hi there, Gleamstar," greeted a voice.
"Who's there?" the purple she-cat asked, looking around. She gasped when she saw that it was... Fallen Leaves!
