I stood at the bottom of the steps as Kai looked at me with a frown. I just looked on as she walked out with both my father and grandfather beside her. It felt like piece of me was going with her. But it was the right thing to do.

"Ah wah yuh do di gyal Ranny?" Aunty Ronna questioned me "Somethang happen an she ah leff"
I haven't even made it down the steps properly and I'm bombarded by questions.
"Now why y'all think I did something?" I questioned while stepping off the steps.
I was highly offended that the first thing they thought was I'll hurt Kai, emotionally or even physically. Maybe it was true. I did hurt her by calling off everything.
"Yuh ah likkle red bwoy, ah wah yuh kids call it these days?" She snapped her fingers thinking.
"Fuck bwoy" Romani answered her mother's question.
"Yea ah tha it, yuh a likkle fuck bwoy" Aunty Ronna said "Ah gyal yuh nuh too big fi geh yuh mouf wash wif blue soap eh" she warned Mani.
"Ranny ah why Kai gawn fuh real eh?" Aunt Queeny asked me with a look of concern.
"She um" I began to think of the perfect excuse I can simply feed them.
"Ah sure she fi see yuh nuh ah man an gawn fi fine one" James joked as him and Kyle dapped.
"Ah God kno she too hot fi be wif ah man like yuh" Kyle commented.
"Yuh fi shut yuh mouf yea. At least I still hav ah gyal yea" I said in the same tone as those two dumb asses.
Technically I really didn't have one. It's funny how my accent came out while I'm around my family.
"Ran bwoy" TK gained my attention.
"What bwoy?" I turned to him irritated already knowing my family is going to pressure me.
"Nuh yuh bwoy. I mean RUN" he pointed behind me as my father was about to charge towards me.
