I watched Sam storm out of the apartment with intrigue. I was invisible to Sam, Dean and Castiel at the moment. I was just purely...observing.

Now should I follow Sam and make his life a living Hell or should I stay here and watch Dean and Castiel romanticise about nearly everything? I think the first one will do nicely.

I teleported right next to Sam who was angrily walking on the side of the pavement to a busy road. He jumped at my presence and glared at me.

"Five minutes", Sam's paced quickened, "Can't anyone just give me five minutes alone?"

"I can't just let you out of my sight, Sam", I told him as if it was obvious, "You're a hard one to find once you're gone".

Sam kept speedily walking on the side of the pavement, almost bumping into a car that sped past. The driver beeped angrily before he was out of our view.

"Where are you going?" I asked, "Or where do you think you're going?"

"It's none of your business", Sam snapped.

"Let me guess", I pretended to think about it, "Some shabby, old hotel? What are you gonna do-act like a drama queen until your big brother comes and cheers you up?"

"Just leave me alone", Sam muttered, desperately trying to avoid me.

Of course I continued to follow him.

"You know, you're attitude is getting on my nerves", I warned him edgily, "Just some friendly advice. You probably shouldn't irritate me".

"Or what?" Sam scoffed.

I sighed and shook my head before clicking my fingers and working my magic. I knew how to get to him. In front of us, I made the illusion of a clown with a chainsaw appear. Sam intensely jumped back, almost, almost grabbing onto me for comfort. He must really be scared of clowns.

Sam regained his senses and proceeded to walk past the clown.

"It's not real", Sam said to himself shakily.

"That's correct", I admitted, "But I am. And that's all that matters really, isn't it?".

Sam sideways glanced at me with tension and fear.

"Because really clowns aren't your biggest fear, aren't they?" I smirked at his pale expression.

Again, I teleported to about a metre right in front of him. He walked into me and almost tripped over with horror.

"I am", I laughed manically.

Sam's eyes turned wide with fright because he was only just realising how much he feared me. Losing all control of his sense of direction, he accidentally stumbled into the road. My head turned quickly and I saw a car speeding towards him when he was losing his balance.

I ran quicker than I had ever ran in my entire life.

Milliseconds before the car could hit him, I dived onto his body and pushed him out of the road, myself falling down with him.

Sam hurriedly stood up and stared down at me on the ground with disbelief.

Before he could say anything, I quickly used my powers again to teleport away. I had no idea where I landed and I didn't care. Anywhere but where I was was perfectly fine.

Why did I do that? I mean, of course I would save him just so that this game of ours wouldn't be over but I could've just brought him back anyway. Some sort of instinct and fear seemed to have just taken over my body and forced me to run.

Sam's expression right before I fled asked the exact same question I was asking myself.

Why?
