Sam yelled at me when I parked the car incorrectly. It must have took me at least six attempts to get it right.

I excitedly got out of the car and Sam followed, almost eagerly. He looked up at the large building with confusion.

"Where are we?" Sam asked.

By now, it was almost pitch black outside but the street lamps lighted up the area that we were in. I walked speedily over to the entrance and Sam had trouble keeping up with me.

"Can you slow down?" Sam called out from behind me.

He stared at the formal glass door wearily.

"Whatever this is, it's closed", Sam informed me, looking at me with concern, "You're not breaking the door. It's locked".

"You're right", I nodded in response, reaching into my pocket, "It's locked. So, it's a good thing that I stole the keys, isn't it?"

I produced the keys in front of Sam. He shook his head and laughed.

"You're not serious", Sam's smile faded when he saw my affirmative expression, "Where did you get those?"

"If it's any consolation, the guard was rude anyway", I shrugged.

"You killed him?!" Sam asked with disbelief.

"Are you really shocked?"

I leant down to unlock the glass doors, smiling satisfactorily when they opened straight away. It was so dark inside that it was hard to walk anywhere without bumping into anything. Sam cautiously shut the doors behind us.

"I can't see anything!" Sam complained, groaning when he walked into a wall.

Sam jumped when I grabbed his shoulder but soon relaxed when I walked him forwards.

"Hold on", I abandoned his shoulder and went over to what looked like an office behind a reception desk, "Stay there!"

Squinting through the darkness, I ran my hands down the wall of random buttons. One of these had to be a light switch. Eventually, I hit the right switch and the room was filled with brightness. Sam held his hands in front of his eyes for a few seconds, adjusting to the new light.

Leaving the office, I ran back to him and held his wrists, pulling him backwards until we reached the turnstiles. I climbed over the metal boundaries and beckoned for Sam to follow.

"I still have no idea where we are", Sam commented before following my lead and getting past the turnstile.

The hallway was full of vending machines. Sam peered around the place curiously until his eyes landed on the huge room behind us.

"What's in there?" Sam asked with intrigue.

I didn't reply. Turning the handle on the door, I kicked it open and we were greeted by the fresh scent of chlorine. I pulled down a lever nearby to turn on more lights and the whole room lit up, revealing the colourful shades of blue surrounding us.

We had broken into a swimming centre. Sam couldn't hide the amused expression on his face.

"You're insane", Sam laughed, staring around at the empty, colossal place with bafflement.

I didn't even hesitate to throw my shirt off from over my head. Sam watched me with fascination, probably trying to comprehend how I was so casual about breaking into a swimming pool centre.

"I don't even have extra clothes", Sam said.

"That's fine", I approached him, bringing up my hands to unbutton his shirt.

"Can angels even swim?" Sam asked.

Until his shirt was finally off, I pulled his arms gently until we were standing close to the water.

"Looks like we'll have to find out", I quickly said before effortlessly jumping into the water, bringing Sam in with me.

He swam to the surface hurriedly, gasping for air and glaring at me humorously.

"You could've warned me!" Sam complained, unable to hide a smile.

Thankfully, I was finding it easy to swim. I advanced towards Sam and he looked taken aback when I wrapped my arms around his waist under the water.

"Then it wouldn't be as fun", I reminded him, my hands moving from his waist down to his hands.

Sam's hair was soaking wet. I found it difficult to stop myself from running my hands through it. But I just about managed.

"What are you doing?" Sam giggled nervously, looking down, and I realised that my hands were still holding his, "This is crazy".

"Just forget about sanity for a moment", I smiled, "Live like there's no rules".

"Have you been readings quotes or something online?" Sam asked humorously.

Leaving his hands, I resumed back to his waist and pushed him backwards until he floated back and hit the wall. Enclosing my arms around him, my lips soon reached his and Sam eagerly kissed back, our mouthes wet from the water. I pulled back and Sam stared at me with confusion.

"You're not drunk and you don't have a hangover", I told him with a small grin, "You can't blame anything this time".
