~Sam~

A screeching loud horn awoke me from my sleep. Startled from the sudden noise, I jumped in my seat and squinted with pain, shielding the bright sun from my tired eyes. My head hurt like a bitch.

Turning my head, I saw Lucifer sitting next to me with a smirk plastered on his face whilst he removed his hands from the car horn.

"Morning, sunshine", Lucifer said with sarcasm.

I groaned, straining to sit up properly.

"What the hell happened last night?" I asked with sudden memory loss, "I just remember drinking too much and then that's it".

"Well, you didn't do anything to embarrass yourself", Lucifer reassured me and I sighed with relief, "Although you did drink a whole jug of this...this weird type of red alcohol in one go".

"Oh, God", I held my head in my hands with agony.

"You're not exactly the best person at staying awake", Lucifer informed me, "You passed out and I had to drag you back into the car".

I was craving water. My head felt like it had a throbbing drum beat of pain echoing through it.

"You're a great kisser though, I'll give you that", Lucifer added.

My head darted towards him.

"What?"

"I said you're a great-"

"I heard you", I snapped, "You're joking. Aren't you?"

Lucifer smiled somewhat sympathetically at me before shaking his head.

"No", I refused to believe it, "You see, because I wouldn't do that".

"Believe what you want, Sam", Lucifer told me with a knowing look in his eyes, "Doesn't make it false".

"So you're-"

"100% absolutely, more-than-you-could-ever-imagine telling the truth", Lucifer confirmed.

"Oh", I almost gagged, "Oh, God".

I wiped my mouth obsessively with the back of my hand and Lucifer watched me with amusement.

"How do you even remember?" I asked with disgust.

Lucifer looked at me innocently.

"You...You were drunk too, right?" I slowly asked.

"Sort of", Lucifer hesitated.

"What do you mean sort of?" I hissed with anger and confusion.

"I was sober enough to be aware of everything", Lucifer explained.

"Then why did you let me..." I couldn't even get the words properly out of my mouth without feeling weird about it, "Why did you let me kiss you?"

"I didn't let you kiss me", Lucifer turned his head to face me with a half serious look in his eyes and I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic or not, "I initiated it".

I let that sink in for a few seconds.

"So, you're telling me", I started, thinking about it carefully, "that you weren't fully drunk but you...but you-"

I couldn't look him in the eyes. I heard him exhale slowly and, the next thing I knew, a pair of lips were against mine. My instincts took over my body and I found myself grabbing his shirt and pulling it towards me. Common sense soon came back to me and I pushed him away.

"W-Wh-What are you doing?" I stuttered nervously.

"I don't know", Lucifer said, more to himself than me, "I don't know what I'm doing".

"You're sober now", I reminded him with confusion.

"So are you", Lucifer replied.

I turned the keys in the ignition.

"What are you doing?" Lucifer asked.

"Driving", I answered, my eyes on the road.

"Sam", Lucifer sighed.

"Dean and Cas will be wondering where I am", I ignored him.

"Sam", Lucifer repeated, trying to get my attention.

"And Dean will be needing his car back", I muttered with a monotone voice.

"Sam!"

I felt a hand grab my knee. I turned to look at Lucifer and his eyes flickered from my eyes to my lips. He leant in again, making another advance, but I stopped him. He frowned with disappointment.

"I'm driving", I told him, looking back at the road quickly.

Feeling confused and stupid, I turned the car on the nearest parking lot. Lucifer sat up straight with realisation. Once I had parked the car, I unsurely glanced at Lucifer. His hand was still placed firmly on my knee. I looked down at it, my head still pounding and spinning but this time it wasn't because of the hangover.

My chin was suddenly being lifted up and pulled towards Lucifer as our lips connected once again. His lips were smooth and aggressive when they needed to be but everything felt so bizarre. During the moments we were sharing this new intimacy, all I could think about was the fact that I was kissing an archangel who tortured me and ruined my life. And I was enjoying it.

Lucifer occasionally paused for a second so that he could breathe heavily against my lips. Things felt very heated, especially when Lucifer daringly managed to slide his tongue in my mouth. It felt like a completely different person was controlling me when I slid my arms around his neck and urged him closer.

I wasn't aware of how far I was being pushed back but, eventually, I felt the window hit the back of my head. Lucifer was leaning right over to my side of the car.

I was trying to convince myself that it was the hangover. Headaches made me feel weak and vulnerable because I had so little energy. But I couldn't blame that because, as soon as Lucifer started kissing me, the pain inside my head just seemed to vanish. When Lucifer's body just about pressed against mine so he was practically laying over me, everything finally came back in my confused, messed-up mind. And then it hit me.

What the hell was I doing? This man was literally the devil and here I was, making out with him in a car.

My hands separated our bodies as I pushed his chest away. He looked down at me, half smirking and half lustfully gazing.

"Lucifer..." I started, awkwardly sitting up so that he had to move back to his seat, "We can't. I don't know what came over me. My head just hurts and-"

"Yeah", Lucifer nodded, almost sadly, "I know".

"I just-"

"I know, Sam", Lucifer gave me a look that told me he knew how I was feeling, "Don't worry about it".

I sighed frustratedly, turning to look out of my window to see if anyone was around. We were alone. When I turned back to look at Lucifer, instead I was greeted by an empty seat.

He was gone.

I was alone.
