~Castiel~
I had never felt happiness like this before. All the other times when Dean kissed me, it felt good for a while but then he told me they were mistakes. But this time he said that they weren't. I found it difficult to stop myself from smiling.
Just before Sam could elaborate on what Crowley had said, there was another knock at the door. All three of us looked at each other suspiciously before Dean moved over to answer it. He paused before opening the door and peered through the peep hole.
"There's no one there", Dean shrugged and then rolled his eyes, "Damn kids".
"Or..." Sam squinted at the door curiously, "Dean, with our job, it's never kids".
"What, you think it's some kind of creature?" Dean asked Sam, "Now?"
The door knocked again and Dean sighed irritably. He brought out a pistol from his jacket pocket and moved to the door cautiously. He slowly opened it but his body was blocking who was there so I couldn't see. Dean's gun dropped to the floor and he stood frozen.
"Dean?" I panicked, rushing over to see what had happened.
I stopped immediately, my eyes wide.
"What's up, bitches?"
Charlie Bradbury was standing right in front of us, her hair red and beautiful and a wide smile spread across her face as usual.
After a few seconds of silent shock, Dean pulled her into a tight hug.
"Charlie?!" Sam gasped, running over.
Dean pulled back, still looking astounded and Sam hugged her as well. Charlie looked at me, her eyes shining, and grinned.
"Come here, you", Charlie beckoned me over and she embraced me in a hug.
I smiled against her shoulder before we both pulled away.
"Did I miss anything?" Charlie asked.
"You're...You were...You're not", Dean stuttered, unable to get his words out properly.
"You were dead!" Sam finished for him.
"Yeah", Charlie replied, "Thanks, Mr. Obvious. I know. I just kind of...came back".
"This must be the whole not-dead issue that's happening with everyone", Sam turned to Dean and I.
"Charlie", Dean ignored Sam, "What...What happened? Are you okay?!"
"I guess so", Charlie shrugged, closing the door behind her, "I just woke up in the middle of the road. It felt like I had passed out for ages. It was weird".
"So, you don't remember anything?" Sam asked, "You don't remember Heaven?"
"Nope", Charlie replied, "The last thing I remembered before waking up was that d-bag brutally murdering me!"
"Well, don't worry", Dean reassured her, "I took care of him".
"Wait!" Charlie quickly said, "The Mark! Dean, is it gone?"
Dean smiled at Charlie and nodded. Charlie triumphantly punched the air.
"Yes!" Charlie celebrated, "I knew I didn't die for nothing!"
"I'm still having trouble understanding this", Sam sighed, "So, you just...came back?"
"Exactly", Charlie nodded.
"This doesn't make any sense", I muttered.
"With the life you guys have, nothing makes sense", Charlie laughed slightly, "Look, guys, I'm just happy to be back. Yeah, we'll probably figure out why this happened but, right now, all I want is food! I haven't ate since...well, since I died".
"I'll go to the store", Dean offered and then glanced at me, subtly telling me to come with him.
"I'll go with you", I quickly said and Dean smirked in response.
When Dean and I walked out the door, we could vaguely hear Sam and Charlie excitedly talking about Game of Thrones. Dean laughed and shook his head. We both got in the car and, before Dean started driving, he turned his head to face me.
"So many things are happening right now", Dean said with a smile, "I don't know what to focus on".
I looked at the CD player in the front and pressed the on button. A guitar riff immediately started playing.
"What's this one called?" I asked Dean and he started driving.
"Lonely Is the Night", Dean replied, "Billy Squier".
We simply listened to classic rock songs on the way there. When we arrived, the store wasn't in sight. There was a huge hole in the ground where it previously was and a few people were standing around, chatting about what had happened.
Dean and I looked at each other with concern and got out of the car, both making our way over to a woman with glasses.
"Excuse me", Dean approached her and I followed, "What happened here exactly?"
"You didn't hear?" the woman asked, "It just burned down. There's been rumours but, quite frankly, I think they're ridiculous".
"What's your name?" Dean asked.
"Rachel", she replied unsurely, "Why do you-"
"Rachel, I want you to tell me exactly what you've heard from these rumours", Dean brought out his fake FBI badge, "Everything".
"Well, it's stupid", Rachel began, "But apparently someone saw a man standing right here before it burnt down".
"This man", I joined in, trying to sound formal, "Did anyone see what he looked like?"
"He didn't really have a distinctive appearance", Rachel said, "Kind of blond, quite short".
"Who told you this?" Dean asked.
"A colleague from work", Rachel answered, "She said she saw him..."
"Saw him what?" Dean persisted.
"Click his fingers", Rachel laughed at the sound of it, "She said he clicked his fingers and, as if by magic, the whole place blew up and set on fire".
"Okay", Dean nodded, not seeming surprised, "Is that all?"
"I think so".
"Alright, thanks for the help", Dean nodded at her and we walked back to the car.
"Do you think it's some kind of demon?" I questioned Dean.
"No", Dean replied flatly.
"Then what?"
"Well, a few days ago, Sam was supposed to come here", Dean explained, "He told me was closed for the day. That was the exact day he started acting all weird. Cas, that was the day that Lucifer came back".
"You think this was Lucifer?" I asked.
"No, I know it was Lucifer", Dean got back in the car and I sat back in the passenger seat, "So, already he has burnt down a store, killed too many innocent people and stabbed my brother. That sick son of a bitch is gonna die and he's gonna die slowly".
