~Dean~

Once Sam had left, I turned back to face Cas.

"Dean-"

"Look, I need to get away from here before I do something I'm gonna regret", I shook my head, running my hand through my hair.

"What do you mean?" Cas asked, looking worried all of a sudden.

"Just..." my voice trailed off and I couldn't stop looking at his stupid tie which he managed to mess up again, "Just stay here, okay?"

"Dean, I'm not letting you go when you're in this state", Cas told me sternly.

"What state?" I asked, getting annoyed again.

His damn blue eyes and that friggin' trench coat he refused to get rid of...

"You're angry", Cas told me, "I don't know why but you're just angry".

"I'm not angry!" I argued but the rage in my voice said otherwise.

His hair that he tried to keep neat but often ended up messy.

"You're-"

"Cas, just shut the hell up!" I snapped, closing my eyes with frustration.

The fact that he wore one thousand layers of clothes.

"What is it?" Cas asked, not giving up.

"Stop it!" I shouted.

His lips always quivered when he was really sad. The way that he tilted his head like a begging puppy. His questioning eyes. Everything...

"Dean, what's bothering you?" Cas grabbed my shoulders intensely, looking my dead in the eyes.

I stared back at him, my anger and confusion overwhelming me. I let out a huge sigh, realising what I just had to do. I couldn't hold back anymore.

My car keys hit the ground when I dropped them. I aggressively brought my hands up to hold his face and I crashed my lips into his, allowing my mouth to kiss him as passionately as I could. Cas' hands were shaking against my shoulders. But he was kissing me back. It might have been hesitant but he was definitely participating. I eventually pulled back and looked at him worriedly, wondering what he was going to do next.

To my surprise, Cas roughly pushed my chest until my back hit the wall and he kissed me hard. I had never seen this side of him before...but I definitely liked it. Cas' hands moved up from my chest to my neck. I pulled his waist closer to my body and rested my tongue on his lower lip. Cas' mouth opened wider and I let my tongue explore. A slight moan escaped from the back of his throat. My hands trailed up his back until they tangled in his hair, pulling at the locks to urge him further into my mouth.

"Dean", Cas murmured against my mouth, his voice rough and desperate.

I pulled back slightly, my hand against Cas' chest firmly when he tried to kiss me again. My eyes were still closed until I opened them again to meet his bright blue eyes.

"Is this the part where you tell me it was a mistake like all the other times?" Cas whispered, watching me sadly.

I lowered my eyes as I fixed his tie again.

"Not this time", I replied with a small smile.

Pulling at his tie until his face was close to mine, I lightly pressed my mouth against his. I felt Cas smiling against my lips and, when I pulled back, he shyly gazed at me. He looked down at his chest and then back to me.

"Thanks for fixing my tie", Cas said with a smirk and we shared a laugh at our inside joke.

"Cas, I'm sorry", I said with a serious tone and my smile faded, "I shouldn't have messed you about like that. The truth is, none of those kisses were a mistake. I just couldn't admit it to myself".

Cas smiled as he held my waist tightly.

"Thank you, Dean", Cas nodded appreciatively.

I removed my hands from his shirt and brought them behind my back to grab his hands and hold them in between us. Pausing for a while to think about it, I interlaced our fingers and Cas looked down at them.

"So, what does this mean?" Cas asked, his eyes looking back up at mine.

"I don't know", I answered truthfully, "I guess we'll just...see how it goes".

A key could be heard unlocking the front door and Cas and I separated our closeness, giving each other a flirtatious smile. I placed my hand on his shoulder as I walked past him to see Sam.

Sam looked bothered.

"You okay?" I asked him, unable to hide the smile from my face.

"Yeah", Sam shrugged, "Crowley, uh, just wanted to show me a stupid client he was torturing".

"Oh", I nodded, looking at the ground, "No news on Cas' grace?"

Cas' head perked up and he looked at Sam hopefully.

"No", Sam shook his head, "Sorry".

I glanced at Cas and we both shared a concerned look.
