"Dude, where's my friggin' pie?" Dean asked Sam with fury.

"I...I'm sorry", Sam stuttered nervously, looking frightened of Dean's angered expression, "I forgot again".

"Typical", Dean muttered.

I was watching them. They could only see me if they wanted me to. Not even Sam knew I was here.

Castiel was nowhere to be seen. It was obvious that he had been in some sort of argument with Dean. Even though he was acting outraged about his pie for now, I could see something deeper and more personal behind his expression. Had Castiel stormed out?

"Where's Cas?" Sam finally asked and I couldn't help but smile at him even though I was invisible.

"Great minds", I muttered to myself, beaming at Sam.

"He, uh, had to head out for a while", Dean lied, "It's not like he was gonna stay here all the time, was it? He has other things to do".

Dean paused and I noticed his hand curled up into a fist underneath the table.

"Such as putting himself in danger", Dean added, staring into the distance furiously and then muttering under his breath, "Friggin' hypocrite".

"What?" Sam asked, unable to hear him properly.

"Nothing", Dean sniffed.

Ignoring Dean's drama, I approached Sam and simply watched him for a while. I watched how his eyes squinted for a while before dismissing whatever it was he was thinking about. I watched him inhale sharply and turn around to grab two cans of beers from the table. I watched him toss his brother a beer and give him a reassuring smile before cracking open his own can and bringing it up to his lips, closing his eyes with appreciation when the alcohol entered his system. I found myself grinning at the sight.

"Look, whatever's happened between you two", Sam started, leaning against the counter, "You know it'll end up alright again. It's Cas. You could never stay mad at him just like he could never stay mad at you".

Dean didn't reply. He took a large gulp of beer and sighed happily at the taste. Sam was thinking heavily about something during the small silence.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Sam hesitantly asked.

"Nope", Dean answered flatly, his eyes dull.

"Will you be alright if I call in early?" Sam said unsurely, "It's just been a long day".

"I'll be fine", Dean replied unconvincingly, "Sleep".

"Alright", Sam nodded, squinting at him for a few seconds before hurriedly finishing his beer, "Well, I'll see you in the morning".

"Night", Dean murmured, still staring into space and not properly focusing.

Sam made his way to his bedroom and I made my move to follow him through the door. I considered watching him sleep but then I thought that would just be borderline creepy.

Sam looked into the mirror absentmindedly, frowning at the reflection with some form of self loathing. That was when I revealed myself to humans again, simply because I hated seeing him look so unhappy with himself. He jumped when he saw me in the background of his reflection. Suddenly, the frown was gone as his eyes gleamed up and a smile brightened his face. He turned around to face me.

"What are you doing here?" Sam whispered, worried that Dean would here.

Allowing my eyes to trail up and down his body, I took a few steps closer towards him with a smirk.

"I got bored", I told him simply.

"You're always bored", Sam laughed.

"Only when I'm not with you", I replied and then rolled my eyes at myself, "That sounded a lot less cringeworthy in my head".

Sam took a step towards me, closing the last space between us. He placed a warm hand on my cheek and pulled me closer to him.

"It sounded perfect to me", Sam said quietly with another smile.

Unable to resist the closeness between us, I kissed him in a way that was intended to be soft and light but ended up being irresistibly rough and desperate. Sam breathed heavily through his nose, returning the same amount of lust as he walked me backwards until my back hit the bed. I gradually leant backwards and allowed Sam to crawl over me, biting down on my neck which made me moan. Sam shushed me with a laugh, placing a hand over my mouth just like I did to him back at the swimming centre.

I held his wrist pleadingly until he took his hand away.

"I'll try to be quiet", I whispered and Sam nodded.

He leant back down to kiss my lips and I slung my arms around his neck, pulling him down closer and wanting him more. Eventually, I got impatient so I pushed his chest backwards until his back hit the bed and I was the one on top of him, fitted perfectly in between his legs.

Grabbing a fistful of his hair, I kissed him aggressively and suppressed another moan. I felt his hands trail down my back which sent a pleasurable shiver down my spine.

All of a sudden, my eyes shot open when I heard the door slam open.

"Sammy, do you know where the-"

Everything fell silent and felt slow-motion. Sam froze with fright and the inside of my head felt numb. Finally finding the courage to move, I turned my head slightly and my eyes landed on Dean who was staring at us wide-eyed with horror.
