The second Sam had closed the door, Dean hurriedly rushed towards me and kissed me. I ran my hands down his body and began to walk him into his bedroom. Dean placed a hand on my chest to stop me, pulling away from my lips gently.

"What's wrong?" I asked with disappointment, tilting my head in confusion.

"Be patient", Dean smiled knowingly, grabbing my hand and pulling me to the front door with him.

"But isn't that why Sam said-"

"I don't care what Sam said", Dean interrupted, "Now put your shoes on".

I didn't understand what he was doing but I did as I was told. Dean also put his shoes on and threw his leather jacket over his body, quickly checking in the mirror and nodding with satisfaction.

"What are you doing?" I questioned.

"We", Dean started, walking over to me and holding my hand again, "are going on a date".

"Really?" I smiled excitedly.

"Really", Dean replied, opening the door and then sighing when he remembered that Sam took the car, "Well, Cas, it looks like we will have to walk".

"I'm not complaining", I squeezed his hand tightly and I suddenly felt a surge of warmth  rush over me even though there was a slight chilling breeze, "Where are we going?"

"You never understand my references", Dean started, "Especially my Jack Nicholson references. They're showing old movies at the cinema. Today's movie is The Shining".

"Which one is that?" I asked with intrigue.

"Heeeeere's Johnny!" Dean grinned psychotically.

"Yes, I've heard you say that phrase more than considered normal", I laughed.

"Be prepared to see the best, most classic movie you will ever see in your life", Dean said with excitement.

It felt so strange yet so ordinary, walking down the street and holding hands with the hunter I have known for the whole time I've been existing on Earth. Sometimes Dean would swing our hands to and fro but stop abruptly when he was brought back to reality, out of his own world inside his head. I wished I knew what he was thinking about.

"Dean", I broke the comfortable silence, "Have you thought about what you're going to do with Azazel and...the others?"

"It's not what we need to do that's the problem", Dean explained, "It's what we need to find out".

"From who?" I asked.

"I don't know", Dean sighed hopelessly, "Honestly, Cas, I'm just so tired of us always being the ones who have to figure out what's going on. Why can't we just have a break?"

"Because you're a Winchester", I smiled solemnly.

Dean stifled a laugh before he looked up. We were only metres away from the movie theatre. Dean grabbed my shoulders and intensely looked me in the eyes.

"You are about to see something amazing", Dean whispered dramatically.

"I believe you", I laughed.

Dean leant forward and planted a soft kiss on my lips before he practically dragged me inside.
