~Dean~

Cas and I sat there for a few minutes in a tense silence. I was so friggin' angry and all I wanted to do was punch the next person I saw.

Yet again, Cas placed his hand on my shoulder, trying to be comforting. It didn't work. My eyes trailed towards his and he looked back at me with sympathy and concern. He actually looked quite frightened of what I would do, as if he was waiting for a bomb to explode.

My eyes cold and hooded, I glared darkly at him, my anger seeping through my body. Now obviously I couldn't punch the son of a bitch; I could never do that. So there only seemed to be one option left to take out my anger on.

"Dean, you look-"

Before he could even finish his sentence, I grabbed his face intensely and smashed my lips into his, eyes squeezed shut and burning hot, angry tears threatening to appear. Not holding back, I bit down roughly onto his bottom lip and Cas groaned approvingly. He kissed me back for a few seconds but then common sense seemed to have came back to him.

"Dean, this isn't..." Cas stopped himself to unwillingly sigh with pleasure when I aggressively nibbled on his neck, "You're upset. We can't do this. Not now".

"Cas, just shut up", I growled, pushing myself over to his side of the car so that I could wrap my legs around his waist.

He was trying so hard not to give in but all he could do was kiss me back even harder.

"Dean", he kept murmuring desperately, his hands sliding down my back and under the bottom of my t-shirt.

When I fiddled around with a lever underneath the car chair and it finally reclined back, Cas finally managed to push me away gently.

"Dean, this is the absolute worst time to do this", Cas spoke soothingly, "You're angry. This can't happen right now. Not like this".

My eyes flickered between his sadly and I sighed, pulling back away from him and falling back into my seat. With confusion, Cas struggled to get his seat back up for a whole minute. Eventually, I rolled my eyes and completed the action for him. He gave me an appreciative smile.

"Let's go home", Cas said, his voice still as smooth as silk.

I exhaled heavily, contemplating what to do. I decided to take Cas' advice. I would simply ignore Sam.

Starting the ignition, we drove in silence for a while. There was nothing really to be said. Sounds of heavy rain splattering against the window filled the quietness perfectly. There were barely any cars on the road as it was so late at night.

Hopelessly, I sighed lightly and stared out of the window. I could just about make out the silhouette of a man walking in the pavement with his hands in his pockets. Something seemed unrecognisably familiar about him. Purposely, I slowed the car down only slightly and peered curiously at the man. When I finally saw his face, my eyes grew wide and, without hesitation, I swerved the car to a dramatic stop.

"Dean, what the hell?!" Cas stared at me wide eyed, alarmed.

Without answering him, I aggressively pushed the car door open and ran up to him. My hand on his shoulder, I turned him around to face me.

"Chuck?"

He looked up at me, a small smile on his face. I heard Cas walking over to us. He stopped immediately when he saw who it was.

"I...I don't understand", Cas stuttered.

"Dean and Cas", Chuck smiled peacefully, "Fancy seeing you two here".

"God..." Cas breathed out, mesmerised.

"Oh, don't be so formal", Chuck insisted, "Just keep calling me Chuck. Wait a second, have you been okay since you were possessed? My son hasn't continued to harass you, hasn't he?"

"No, he's harassing my brother instead", I muttered with annoyance.

"Oh?"

"It's a long story", Cas dismissed it, focusing on the more important questions, "What are you doing? I thought you disappeared with Amara".

"I did", Chuck replied, "and I told Dean I'd be back. So here I am".

"What, just like that?" I asked with confusion, "No reasons at all. You just felt like a trip back to humanity?"

"Well, I think it's safe to say that I left some things...unfixed", Chuck admitted, looking at the ground guiltily, "I know that Gabriel is back. I need to try and sort out some things with two of my sons. It's the right thing to do".

"Alright", I laughed slightly, taken aback by everything, "Well, do you want a lift?"

"That'd be good", Chuck accepted the offer, "I need to catch up with you two actually. Are you together yet?"

Cas and I looked at each other in disbelief before turning back to Chuck.

"How did you-" Cas started but got interrupted.

"I'll take that as a yes", Chuck winked, grinning wildly, "It's about time. It's been tedious watching you two stare at each other all day and not admitting your true feelings. Finally!"

Chuck patted us both on the shoulder and jumped into the back of the car. Cas and I were baffled but shook it off with a small laugh. I turned to him, feeling less angry than I had before by now.

"Well, would you look at that?" I smirked at Cas, "Even God wants us together".
