Ross's POV


We just stared at each other. It was time. I couldn't wait any longer. I spoke.

"Laura do you want me to go?" I asked.

"No, but I'm not forcing you not to go. I just want you to be happy."

"But I'm happy with you, and I want to take this opportunity. I just don't know."

"Ross, I'm saying you should go for it. Follow your heart."

"But what about you?" I asked.

"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine," she replied.

"You can't possibly be fine here, Chelsea and Miranda are out for you," I pointed out.

(A/N: P.S. I changed the setting so they live in Miami, sorry.)

"I'll be fine if you break up with Chelsea and make them stop whatever they're trying to do," she stated.

"If I do, they'll think something's up."

But then an idea popped in my head.

"There's another solution."

Laura gave me a confused look.

"What is it?" she asked.

"Why don't you come to with my family, Ratliff, Kelly, and I?!" I exclaimed.

"I-I don't know. What about Sky?"

"You can bring small pets on the plane." (A/N: This is a true fact, I saw a very cu- on with the story😜)

"Okay...but this cabin holds all our memories," she worried.

"It's alright Laura, it's time to forget the past. Move into the present," I said.

"But we can start packing the things you want to keep, and transfer the furniture to another house in LA," I added.

She nodded. But then her face lit up.

"Hold on," she said then ran towards the phone.

She talked and talked.

"Thank you!" she exclaimed then hung up.

She came back with a grin.

"I got myself a transfer house, it's huge! Also I get to live in it for free!" she squealed.

Then there was a knock on the door.

I opened it up to see Rydel. Laura scrunched up her nose.

"Ross I'm sorry for lying to you, and Laura I'm sorry for accusing you. I thought I was protecting my brother but I did the wrong thing," Rydel said shamefully.

Laura looked at her blankly but then she hugged her.

"It's okay Rydel, I didn't want to lose my bestie!"

I smiled at the sight.

Everything turned out just right.
