So I was taking a bus home from Rexburg, ID and it was one of those long buses that has a bathroom in the back. Anyways, at first the bus kept stopping and I was thinking Ok.. This is probably something the bus does. But it seemed like on most stoplights every time the bus driver tried starting up again, it was having problems.
So at one point we pulled over and the bus driver called one of the other people and explained what the problem was. The person on the other end told the driver that it would be probably another hour before another bus came. And from what I heard, there was 17 passengers. I was the seat behind the driver so I could kinda hear what was going on. After the call, he stood up and turned to the passengers and told them it was probably going to be another hour before another bus came.
The passengers weren't really too happy to hear that. One passenger said that people have flights to catch. The driver told us that there was nothing he could do except wait. Now realize this was like between 4 and 5 PM. So we pulled off to the side of the road and just waited for another bus. Finally another bus came, but it was a different driver. I wasn't sure if he was testing it out or something. But once we got back on the road, it seemed to be doing fine up until 5 minutes from the airport it was acting up again. One of the passengers said to the driver that was exactly what it has been doing.
The driver told us that you can't really rush this bus and that's probably why it was acting that way. Either that or it was the transmission. . One of the passengers asked if the other driver was going to get terminated.. The driver said that the other driver isn't going to get terminated. Finally we arrived at the airport, and I didn't arrive there until 9:30 ish and didn't get home until 10 ish. But it was strange, when I had gotten inside the house, it had some sort of smell. To me it was because I was in Idaho for 3 days that had no WiFi. I'm just glad I got home okay.
