Chapter 54- Rollercoaster part 2

So now that the buick is dead as I mentioned in part 1, I had to find a new car. . I wasn't going to have it like last time when I bought a truck and it turning out that I was scamed. I wanted to be careful because I did not want that to happen again. I mean sure I would ask the seller how much they are asking and if there's anything wrong with the car etc... So this I would say; That this rollercoaster would be going up.

I bought a new car... Well it really isn't new, but it's new to me. This car is a 1993 Mercury Topaz. I didn't buy it from just any random stranger... The person bought it from is one of the CSM'S from where I work. She's an adult that's married so it's not like she's some punk teenager trying to scam me. Anyways I have looked at the car, I have taken it for a test drive and I honestly love it. I mean compared to the other dying buick that I had, this car was better.

For example; When I had the 99 buick, I had to leave the volume in one spot. If I turned it just a tiny bit, then it would sound like the stereo is blasting through the speakers...  And another thing, even if the music was low, even if I hit just a tiny little bump, in that second it would make the music go loud. Yeah I'm sure that would bug you too.

But with this car, I could turn the music up a little higher or lower and it would not blast the music. So there's a plus for that. I once wrote down the pros and cons with the car.. and my result, there's like 10 good things about the car and maybe just 1 or 2 minor things about the car that can easily be fixed. So that's good right?

Anyways after I had bought the car, my family didn't believe me that this wasn't a scam and this really was a good deal. I'm not trying to be in denial but I just wanted them to trust me this time. Okay I can understand about having them worry that it might be like last time when someone scammed me out of money and buying a junk truck. But this isn't like last time.

Hey, at least she only asked for $700 for it which is a pretty good deal considering that if I had bought a new mercury topaz, it would be like thousands of dollars. But everything works with the car.. The heater is good, windshield wipers are good etc... Now the only thing I have to do is get it insured and registered.

Oh I almost forgot to mention, it's a two door car. So if I was going to have a passenger in the back seat, I would have to move one of the front seats forward to let them in the back. Another good thing about the car is, if I have the radio on and I hit little tiny bumps in the road (like those black crack things that the construction workers put in.. I'm not sure what they're called) it won't mess up the radio.

Because unlike the 99 buick I had, anytime I had the music low and I was listening to the radio, sometimes when I hit those little black bumps in the road, it would make the radio go from low to like blast loud which would drive me nuts. But not like this car, because it won't make it blast out like the 99' did.

Which reminds me of a funny story about that, but your going to have to wait for Rollercoaster part 3 for the story... It's pretty funny in a way.
