Those of you who are going to be in the "cell phone" stage where you get to have your first cell phone, becare how you buy your phone unless you have a job. If you learn my experiance, you will think differently. When I wanted a cell phone so bad because I saw everyone else had one, I one day went to Walmart by Lone peak to buy a cell phone because I wanted to be just like the others. It was good while it lasted because the one thing I did not know is I had to pay for it every month.. And I did not have the kind of money to pay for it every month. I know that was stupid of me to buy a cell phone. After that cell phone soon deactivated guess what I did after that once I got money again? I bought a cell phone AGAIN! Hoping that I could save money and pay for it every month... Didn't turn out so good. I don't know why I bought those stupid things. I mean one time I bought 2 cell phone's. One for people to call me with and the second was a personal phone that only Kelly could call me on. And she never did. Ok speaking of Kelly, let me tell you something about her and I was an idiot believe me.
Kelly would always come to me and ask for money. The first time I said ok because I was being nice by buying her Subway or McDonald's by Lone Peak. Every day since then she kept asking. But I thought to myself I should really save money... She can't just keep taking money from me. Is she broke? Does her mom not give her money? And yes there were times when I would be late for class because I was dropping her lunch off for her. There are times when she wanted to get something from the vending machines... Sometimes soda and sometimes other junk food. I was a stupid idiot getting her things. So I guess what I am trying to say is, if you want a cell phone there are only 2 options. #1 Have your parents buy you a phone and they will pay the bill or #2 You buy the phone after you get a job and have enough money to keep paying for it every month. So just be careful when deciding to get a phone. And one thing you should never do is buy a cell phone from a mall. Because once you a legal adult they can sue you for not having to pay enough money and it could be hundreds and hundreds of dollars... Maybe thousands! Basically a lot of money.
