So its October right? Well yeah obviously it is... But here is my question and maybe opinions. So do you think you are too old to dress up for Halloween when you pass the age of 13? Some people like adults might say that we are too old to dress up for halloween when we get into our teens... But you know what? I think differently because some adults who are older than 13 like maybe 16, 17 years olds and going up still dress up. Even my best friend who is in Tennessee right now, I have known her since High school and she dresses up. Not just her but people I am related too... I can understand my family not dressing up unless we think of a clever way and not actually dressing up as superman or spiderman or something like that. I remember someone from this halloween people that dressed up like Nickelback. The thing he did was he taped Nickels onto his back and thats who he was that year. As for me ever since I played "Star Wars: Knights of the old republic II" I always dressed up as Sion (A dark lord) and on his left arm his arm was covered all in black, he was blind and bald and his skin was pale scary looking
I wanted to dress up just like him, but I just dressed up part of him. I remember I had gotten black electrical tape and taped it all around my arm just like Sion's.. It was a good thing I was wearing a jacket at that time because if I had just taped it to my skin, I would have lost that arm. The whole story goes that I was tired from the Halloween party at mutual one year and I guess I passed out and the next morning I woke up and my hand was huge and I had to get circulation back into my hand by keep shaking it and stuff like that. So I guess that is a lesson to learn: Do not use black electrial tape all around your arm and accidently passing out and waking up the next morning with your hand puffed up.
There are good things and bad things about Halloween as you get older. The bad thing is some people might think you are too old to dress up for halloween. But the good thing is, you can stay home while your brothers/sisters go out trick or treating. You can watch a movie or anything while they are out, and while trick or treaters are coming you can secretly snack on the candy but not a whole lot because you need to save some for the tric or treaters.
See the one thing I love about Halloween is because I would always answer the door and I would sometimes snack on the trick or treater candy but I do make sure there is enough for the trick or treaters.
Now, my first halloween in Idaho? I have no clue because I have never actually done halloween in Idaho... But my cousins are Big on Halloween as I am told. I am told that they love this type of holiday. I mean that was just my thing every year on Halloween because I always dressed up like Sion... Well part of him. I didn't have the pale skin, the blind eyes, and being bald with scars all around his body. Yeah if you saw a picture of him, you would think he was scary looking... *Chuckle* He would be a good Halloween icon that scares people. Just a laugh there. You would so be like Whoa!
So I guess the question is, are you really too old to dress up? Or is that just someone's opinion?
