I told you how I became a singer by doing that talent show in 10th grade right? Well, now I need to tell you how I loved dancing ever since. I have been secretly dancing in my room for as long as I could remember. Of course my siblings did not like when I sang and danced. The first time I actually sang was in first grade, I sang in front of a huge mall with a lot of people. I sang christmas songs... But its still singing right? I soon later sang in 6th grade at my 6th grade teacher's funeral singing "Angels among us" by Alabama. And then I did sing in 7th grade in a music class by the time it was 10th grade at the talent show, I  I tried out for and made it. I tried out for my 11th grade and 12th grade talent show too but didn't make it in.. Just to give you a brief summery of how I started singing.

There was this thing called the Road show that we did at mutual. What we did is we had songs but we changed the lyrics a little bit. At first I felt kind of stupid going in slow motion trying to learn the Choreography that they instructed us to. For a long time we kept on practicing and practicing. One day we went to someone's house to help with the singing in the background and so I volunteered. Anytime someone asks me to sing I always sing the song "Billy the kid" by Billy Gilman. After my mutal friends heard me sing, they thought I was really good. Which reminds me, remember how I told you I sang at the 10th grade talent show? Well, the teachers at Lone Peak heard me singing and they were shocked. They actually said,

"Is that Alex singing?!" In a good way I mean. Anyway this person had a studio. Not a big one, but a small one. When the day of the perfomance came, I was nervous. Sure we learned all the moves but the thing was every one knew it by heart. Me? I had to look at someone to know what to do. If you actually saw the parts that I had in the Road Show, it was actually funny the way we did it. I was actually a pretty good dancer of course I was in the back row where no one could see me (I thought they would)

A few weeks later we went to someone's house to watch the Road Show on screen.. I loved it because I got to watch it and had pizza too! But the thing was, when it was over they showed the cast of the people that was in it. I was too but my name wasn't in the cast... I felt heartbroken. I guess the good thing was I got a trophy that said I was best actor. How could they know that if they never saw me? It wasn't a big trophy, just a small one like plastic. So thats how I loved dancing ever since. And I would dance if I could in front of people... Singing too.
