So on December 19th, I got to go to a concert. It was the Philharmonic orchestra with special guest star Lexi Walker. I'm not sure if you have heard of Lexi Walker or her voice, but let me tell you; Her voice is Amazing! I have heard her voice before and that's why I wanted to go to the concert. Let me tell you what happened at the concert;
The night of the concert, I left a hour and 30 minutes before the concert (I left at 6:30, it started at 7) I didn't live too far from the place where the concert was taking place (It was at a school really) So when I got there I was placed on a waiting list for a ticket. . I just needed one ticket. So a little bit before 7, my heart was pounding because I was nervous. At one point I didn't have to be nervous because I'm pretty sure there would be cancellations and all I needed was one ticket.
Around a little after 7, it became packed almost. This was one of those concerts that sell out pretty quickly. The pre-show tickets was already sold out. Soon, they called my name and I was relieved that I got a ticket.
Now let me tell you about the concert; The first song the orchestra played was "Sleigh ride " and if you heard the way they played, it sounded as if you were in the car and it was playing on the radio. They were that good! After the song, they introduced Lexi. Lexi sang some songs and then they had a story and how the story of Christmas came.
After the concert was over, Lexi was going to sign autographs. I bought a Lexi Walker CD before the concert started while i was waiting. I was pretty close to the stage in a auditorium. Lexi signed my CD and poster.
While she was signing them, I talked to her just a bit and I told her she was a really good singer (Which was true) and I also told her I looked forward to her next CD. I also mentioned I hope she would have a good Christmas. I knew Lexi was busy signing autographs so I didn't want to talk too long. I did wanted to get a picture with her but my phone had 1%.. But the funny thing is, maybe 5 minutes later, it jumped to 3%
If you ever wonder if she's nice if you have heard of Lexi Walker, the answer is yes: She is nice. You heard of Jackie Evancho right? Well if you have, think of Lexi Walker's voice kind of like Jackie Evancho's voice but at a young age. Lexi has a really powerful voice! It's simply amazing! If you haven't heard Lexi's voice, go on YouTube and check it out!
