I realize that I keep going back and fourth about school, but I sometimes do that going back and fourth. I remember every school dance... I didn't go to any of them until my 11th and 12th grade year. Now, I realize that Sophmores don't really get asked to dances because some of them are not 16 yet. When I first heard of Sadie's, I was kind of curious so I had this thought in my hear Who is Sadie? Is she cute? A little humor there... But I soon realized that it was actually a dance. So I got out the school calendar and looked up when that dance was, and every day since then I kept counting down of how close the dance was hoping that some girl would ask me to the dance. But, no girl asked me on that specific dance so I was left home alone doing nothing probably doing what I normally did; Either watch movies, or listen to music was all I ever did.

The way they have it scheduled out is if one was a girl's choice dance, then the next one would be boy's choice where the guys asked the girl on a date. The truth is, I never asked a girl on a date on guy's choice. I wanted too, but I was afraid of one thing; My mother would say "No". I guess the reason is because she didn't know how I should react in social situations ---Which was understandable because she was only trying to protect me. She didn't want me embarressed ---What a good mother!

When the time came for me to be in 11th grade, I was excited because it was possible that this year I might get to go to a dance. I actually went on 1. And that was Sadie's. This girl named Maddy asked me to Sadie's. Truthfully it was a lot of fun. The thing was, she actually got me to do the fast dances which I was normally not used too. I remember this one Sadie's dance one before Maddy asked me, that there was this girl named Jen (Short for her real name) and it didn't turn out too well. I was having a good time at first, but some stupid reason I walked off. They tried to catch me, but I just kept walking ---I know it was stupid. At the end of that date, I was supposed to bring her home but her friend took her home instead. Well, Jen's sister I knew since 7th grade hated me after that because I broke Jen's heart. Now, I didn't mean too.

At the time it got to my 12th grade dances, I didn't go on any because no girl asked me to the dances, and I didn't ask a girl to the guy's choice dances either. Well, there was this one girl that did ask me to the dance but she backed out on the day of the dance... Well, it was the night of the dance  actually. You see she doesn't live to far from me and when I saw her car, I cried in a exciting voice

"SHE'S COMING! SHE'S COMING!"  I had gotten so spiffed up because I was wearing pretty nice cloths, was wearing Axe deordant (like I always do) and my hair was combed. I waited for about 10 minutes because she should have picked me up by now. When I called her up she said,

"Oh, I don't feel like going anymore" I was furious and depressed at the same time. Furious because she didn't call me ahead of time and gave me a heads up. And depressed because it was the night of the dance and I had no date. Well, when the christmas dance came it was a clever idea for the guy's to ask the girls. What the happens is, there is a braclet for the guy's and a braclet for the girl's. When a guy would want to ask a girl the the christmas dance, he would slap the braclet on the girl's arm. When the girl wanted to accept it, she would do the same thing with the guy and that's how they paired them up. The guy could ask any girl he wanted too.

Well, during this special class I was taking, this girl wanted to me to ask her. But another girl wanted me to ask her too but I could only chose one. Now, you might think I am a player right? Wrong. I was not popular at all! When I asked the first girl, the other girl didn't show it but she was angry. I will tell you one thing, that was the worst mistake I ever made of asking her. Because on the day of the dance during lunch, she came up to me asking if I could buy her Subway. I had mentioned to her that was our dinnner plan for our date. The next thing I knew she told me she was going to her cousin's house on the day of our date! It had cost me $12 to pay for tickets and I just wasted those $12 because she didn't tell me on time. I didn't know what was true if she really was going to her cousin's. I still had the tickets so I had to find some one quick so the tickets don't go to waste.

But of course the tickets did go to waste because I didn't have a date for that night and I was just angry. I don't know why I do this kind of stupid things. I mean this was all Kelly's doing. I am guessing she has some disorder because it was not normal the way she did. I remember her once asking me to go to the movie's with her like a date. The first time, we went and she brought some one along. The second time she left me in the movie theatre because she went somewhere with her dad and didn't tell me ahead of time. And the 3rd time we went, I got a large popcorn if she wanted any and she said she would get her own... So I was left with a large popcorn and a drink when we went to see the movie "Pirates of the Carribean" (The newest one that was in theatres) I don't think she means to be rude but I guess I was kind of stupid. I thought she would have been a lot nicer, but it turns out that she hadn't changed one bit. Sure, she was cute but I guess that was my weakness: Falling for cute girls. It kind of makes you think that I should have the nickname Archie from the Archie comics.

Its funny, anytime Archie see's a girl that goes past him he goes gaga over her. But still has a hard time figuring out who he wants as his girlfriend either Betty or Veronica. My vote would be Betty because she doesn;'t push Archie and she is actually sweet and caring. Veronica on the other hand? Kind of selfish, it all has to be about her because she is rich. There are times when she tried bribing Archie. Jughead on the other hand is kind of like me or I am kind of like him: We both love to eat. Those of you who read the Archie comics would know what I am talking about.

Then close to the end of the school year, it was time for prom where only the seniors can go. ---Well, Juniors and sophmore's too if they get asked by the guy's. I wanted to ask Jaya to prom but I thought she would say no... Either that or I did not think at that moment. I asked a girl a head of time without talking to my mom first. The reason is because I feared she would say "no" again. I had to ask a girl ahead of time because when Prom comes up, you have to ask really, really. early maybe like October or something. Now Prom isnt until like the end of the school year, but if you ask in October or any early month (not a month or 2 before) there is a good chance a girl will say yes.

When the day came for Prom, I was using my chivlary and etiquette (Believe me, girls love that) But of course girls are so used to guys not doing it so they don't expect guys to open doors for them, push in their chairs etc... If you want to keep it alive, than be on you best manners guys when taking a girl out on a date (real or school dance date.. Doesn't matter)

I did have a fun time being a prom and I am sure my date did too. It wasn't until later I found out she called me weird. I was offended at first but I decided to let it go because part of Aspergers is they are known as "Weird" or "Strange".
