Merida ran through the woods.

"Mum! Mum where are you?" She yelled. She saw the back of a bear. Suddenly the bear turned around. On the ground in front of the bear was a body. Blood had pooled around the body. It was Queen Elinor. "Mum! No!" Merida screamed. She looked at the bear. She realised that the bear was Mordu. Arrows on his back, a scar across his white, blind eye. Merida stepped back into a tree. The bear ran up and pinned her to the ground. She screamed as the bear roared in her face. The bear went onto his back legs with his jaw opened wide. He landed with a thud. Suddenly Merida sat up. Her forehead was covered in sweat. She wasn't with the bear. She was where she fell asleep. Must of been the nightmare, she thought.

"Pitch!" She called out in anger. She stood up. Her eyes stung in the cool night air. She held onto her arms and started walking through the grass. The breeze blowing against her forehead made her head colder. Merida squinted her eyes. Why does have to be so cold? She thought. She kept walking. Her teeth kept chattering. She fell down to the ground. It's too cold to walk tonight, she thought. She curled up to a tree an hid under the tree.
