Chapter 13

~Today~

Lila

I walked outside Julian's room careful so that nobody and especially Kim could see me. I headed at the reception where unfortunately Cody was there looking mad.
- Where were you ?
She asked being mad.
- Room Service.
I replied looking away.
- All this time ?
She asked looking angrily at me.
- Well......
- Well, you better be more responsible Lila. I may start believing this woman that said all these things about your behaviour a couple days ago.
- Yes, ma'am.
I replied looking down.
- We're not over yet. You need to take some things some of our clients left in the airport.
- When ma'am ?
- Now, if you can.
She responeded and she left.
Perfect. It was about to rain and I should walk all the way to the airport and back.
I headed to the room where I change and I wore my clothes undressing myself from the hotel's uniform.
I looked down and I accidentally bumped into Meghan.
- Lila thanks God I found you. I've got a huge problem.
- What ?
- I slept in my cousin's house last night and I don't have my uniform with me. Cody is going to kill me and my shift is about to start.
- Take mine. It's in the room.
- Thank you a million. Where are you going ?
She asked looking at me confused.
- I should bring something someone forgot at the airport.
I explained.
- Oh okay, I guess your shift is normally over.
- Yes.
I responded and I headed outside the hotel.

I arrived at the airport and I asked for the luggage Cody told me about. I took it immediately and I headed back to the hotel but first I went to Thomas house. I need to talk to him. I knocked at his door and he opened after a few minutes.
- Lila ?
He asked surprised.
- Hi, Thomas. Can I come in ?
I asked smiling.
- Actually......
He said looking behind him.
- Oh, you have a girl in there. Don't bother I'll leave.
I said and I turned to leave but he stopped me.
- What do you want ?
He asked looking at me.
- I wanted to talk to you about......
I pointed at my neck where the soothers were still there.
- There's no need to Lila.
He said looking down.
- Because of the girl ?
I said pointing at his door.
- There's not a girl in there. My parents visited me.
He explained.
- Oh....
I said understanding that I came in the wrong time.
- They ask about you.......
He said looking away. His parents thought that we were dating. I guess that's what Thomas could tell them.
- And what did you say ?
I asked afraid of his answer.
- That you went to visit your sister in England.
I nodded. My sister wasn't in England anymore she came back alnost a month now but this wasn't none of his parents bussiness.
- Okay. I'll leave. But we need to talk.
- I'll visit you some day. In the hotel or in your house.......
He said testing my reaction.
I nodded.
- See you.
I said and I left while he closed the door behind me.
I started walking to the hotel and I realized it was raining. That was a shame. I walked all the way to the hotel under the rain and when I finally managed to arrive there I was soaking wet and I was shaking. I went to the lobby leaving the luggage somewhere there when Meghan noticed me.
- Oh my God you should change.
She said taking the luggage and informing the client that had lost it.
- I don't have any other clothes.
I said and I looked outside.
- You can't go home either. The roads are closed because there are floods.
Meghan said looking worryingly at me.
- Maybe I can take yours.....
I said hoping that I could since I was shaking.
- I gave them to Cody so that she could send them to be cleaned because they were my cousin's. I told you I slept at her house yesterday.
- What am I going to do ? I don't have any clothes and I should spend the night here since the roads are closed.
- Maybe there's something at the closet. Go check.
Meghan said and I obeyed. I was shaking and I took of my shoes and shocks so not to leave water in the hotel. I walked upstairs heading to the closet and I bumped into Julian who was talking at his phone.
- Okay, baby good night.
He said hanging up and then looked at me.
- What the fuck Lila ?
- I.....I had to do some chores and.......anyway I need some clothes.
I said trying to leave but he stopped me.
- I can give you some.
He whispered.
- Why.......
- Come.
He said taking my hand gently and leading me to his room.
- There's no need to Julian. There must be clothes somewhere here.
I said still shaking.
But he ignored me. He gave me his pajamas looking at me.
- I suppose you're staying here.
- Here......
- At the hotel I mean Lila.
He said looking at my expression and rolling his eyes.
- Yes.
I said looking at him.
- The roads are closed Vanessa told me that she will stay at the studio. She can't come back.
He said looking at me searching for my reaction.
I nodded.
- You should turn around or leave the room.
I said and he looked at me confused.
- What ?
- Because I need to change.
I explained pointing at his pajamas.
- Of course.
He said smirking.
- Julian......
- Yes.
- Can you give me an underwear of yours ?
I asked less because my underwear was wet and more because I wanted to see his reaction.
- Of course.
He said not losing his temper.
- Thank you.
I responded while taking one.
- I'll wait outside.
He said looking at me.
- Okay.
I responded and as he closed the door I changed. His pajamas had his perfume and I couldn't stop smelling them.
- You're smelling my pajamas ?
He asked coming in.
- I never said that I was ready. Why did you came ? What if I was naked ?
I complained and he raised an eyebrow.
- Actually that's why I did it but unfortunately you had already put on my pajamas.
I blushed and I ignored him.

I took my clothes leaving them outside and I turned to leave.
- Where are you going ?
- I need some sleep.
I explained.
- Where are you going to stay Lila ? You can't go home.
He said coming closer to me.
- I'll stay in a room. Don't worry.
- Are there free rooms ?
He asked raising an eyebrow.
I blushed.
- Maybe.
I finally said and he looked at me.
- You can stay here.
He whispered and I felt butterflies in my stomach,
- But Vanessa........
- Vanessa won't come back for the night.
He said and he touched my hair.
- I can't.
I said but I didn't make an attempt to leave when he started kissing my neck, then my chin. He stopped looking at my reaction and he leaned to kiss me.
I avoided him but he took my face in his hands.
- I want to kiss you Lila. Can I ?
He asked coming closer to me.
But he didn't wait for my answer our lips touched and he pulled me closer to him.
- You shouldn't have done this.
I said when he stopped kissing me.
- I missed you Lila.
He said kissing me again.
- No. It's wrong. You're engaged. I'm leaving.
- Lila wait. You don't have anywhere to stay. Stay here.
I looked at him as if he was crazy.
- I can't Julian.
- Please. Sleep here. I swear I won't touch you.
He said.
But I want you to touch me.
I thought to myself.
- It's not that........
I started but his expression had changed.
- I'll sleep on the floor. You can sleep in the bed.
He said looking at me.
- Don't be stupid Julian.
- Don't leave Lila.
He said kissing my hand.
I nodded. I had nowhere to stay. And besides we wouldn't do anything....just sleep.
- Okay, I'll sleep here.
I said heading to the bed.
- Okay.
Julian said looking at me as I layed to his bed.
- Won't you come ?
I asked sounded a little more playful than I intended.
He nodded and he came laying beside me.
We were silent for a little but then he asked.
- Do you remember when we slept together in high school ? We just slept, it was when we went a trip with our class.
- I remember it.
I said.
- I liked it.
- Yes, me too. You hugged me and I fall asleep like that.
I said and he placed his hand over me hugging me.
- Better now ?
I nodded.
- Good night Julian.
I said and he kissed my hair.
- Good night Lil.
