Chapter 35

~When we were in high school~

Lila

- This would be the best trip ever.
Brine said clapping her hands.
Brine had come to my house almost a week earlier from our trip to Berlin to see my clothes and "borrow" some of them for our school trip complaining that she had nothing to wear herself which of course was a lie. Her wardrobe was always full of clothes she didn't even need. Brine was crazy thinking that my clothes fit her. We had a really different body and we both knew that pretty well.
Despite all these I let her check my clothes out like I always did while I was chatting with Julian. Our stupid conversation made me giggle and Brine was checking on me every now and then to see what was going on.
I was so happy for Julian. He was officially now a player in Wolfsburg. I couldn't be happier for him. He deserved it and I'm so glad he made his dream come true.
- Have you found anything ?
I asked shutting my laptop down.
- A lot.
Brine responded smirking.
- No, way you're taking this dress. I need it. I have bought shoes that they match it, take another one.
I complained.
- You're so selfish Lila. You want your best friend to look terrible ?
She asked trying to sound offended but she failed miserably.
- You know you don't look terrible.
I replied rolling my eyes.
- I won't with that dress.
- Forget it Brine. I'm serious.
- Fine. You selfish....bitch.
I laughed. She was really acting like a baby.
- Why are you so eager about this trip ? We have been to others as well.
- Yes, but this time's different.
She said raising her eyebrows.
- Why ?
- Because I'll maybe have my chance with Silven.
- Who the hell is he ?
- The guy that we're together in Science. Seriously Lila since you started dating Julian you think that he's the only boy in this world.
I blushed. It was the truth although I have never admitted it. I had so strong feelings for Julian that noone else mattered.
- You know, I think I love him.....
I admitted although there wasn't "I think". I knew I loved him, I wanted just to hear to what Brine was thinking about it.
- You do what ? Come on Lila you're just excited. In a few years you won't even remember his name. You're too young to love somebody.
- Why ?
- Cause Lila, boys are like that by their nature they find a girl, they have fun and then, end of story.
I smirked.
- Other boys yes, but Julian's not like that.
- You'll change your mind Lila. They're all the same.
- No, they're not. There's no point in discussing that anyway.
I said rolling my eyes.
- Yes, I agree. Now what do you think of that dress ?

A week later we were ready to fly to Berlin. I was really excited. I had visited Berlin a couple of times when I was younger with my parents and Valerie. This time was different. I was staring nervously the whole time at Julian as I said goodbye to my parents.
- And you know Lila, you'll sleep on your room.
My father said looking at Julian making Valerie bursting out laughing.
- Don't be like that dad. Nobody sleeps in their room in these trips....
Valerie said but when she saw my father's look she added.
- But Lila will.
- Have fun sweetie.
My mother said kissing my forehead.
The trip with the plane wasn't that long. Most of my classmates were sleeping as they hadn't slept the night before because of the excitement. I hadn't slept as well last night but that only happened because I was texting Julian. I was now staring at him as he was laughing with something in his phone with a friend of him. He noticed me staring and he smiled at me with that smile that made my heart melt.
I couldn't help but being in love with him. Why the fuck did he have this kind of effect on me ? I could never expect myself falling like that for someone. I thought that there wasn't such feeling. I thought that these things existed only in the romantic books I liked to read.

Arriving at the hotel we all found our rooms. I was sharing mine with Brine and Jo. Jo was another classmate of mine and she was a nice girl. She didn't really hang out with us but both me and Brine liked her. She was a beautiful girl with long brown hair and big, blue eyes.
- Our room's really nice!
She commented as we entered.
- Indeed!
Brine screamed being more excited than she should.
- Where's Julian staying ?
Jo asked me.
- Boys stay on the third floor.
I replied as we were at the second.
- You'll have a long way with the stairs.
Brine commented and they both laughed. I tried to act seriously but I burst out laughing myself.

- Let's play truth or dare.
Jeremaya said and they all clapped in agreement.
Truth or dare.....fine.
- I ask first.
Kat said looking at me.
- Truth.
I said before she could even say my name.
- I wasn't going to ask you.
She said rolling her eyes.
- Thanks God.
I whispered not as low as I'd like. Kat and I weren't getting along since she liked Julian but I was dating him.
- Fine. I'll ask you then, you already said truth so you can't change it.
She announced so that everybody could hear it.
- Whatever.
I whispered rolling my eyes.
- Okay, have you and Julian move on with your relation or you just kiss ?
Kat asked raising an eyebrow. Why had she to act always like a bitch ?
I heard whispers and laughs from some of my classmates. I think I blushed but I tried to play it cool. She was just jealous. It was pretty obvious.
I looked at Julian who grimaced at me. It seemed like he didn't care at all but I knew he was just pretending.
- Okay, Kat have you ever kissed a boy in your entire life or you're still waiting at Julian to do so ?
Brine asked out loud making the other guys burst out laughing. Jo whistled and I made eye contact with Julian. He seemed like he was having fun with Brine's comment. I bit my lip. That would have a really bad ending.
- Shut up you fat slut. Of course I have. Unlike you I can have any boy I want.
Laughs were still heard from everywhere. Suddenly everyone was starting to comment on each other and I was just sitting here not knowing what to do when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
- Let's go.
Julian said grabbing my hand and I followed him. We ran till the third floor, stopping outside his room.
- Why did we come here ?
I asked him but he didn't respond. He just kissed me.
- I thought you didn't like Kat's company.
- I didn't.
I admitted.
- Yeah, me neither.
He said kissing me again. He then opened his room's door.
- What are we doing here ?
I asked panicked. What if he had taken that question of Kat seriously and he wanted to move on with our relation ? Julian must have read my mind or something cause he touched my face gently and he reassured me.
- We came here just to be alone. We won't do anything you don't want us to.
He said leading me inside, closing the door behind us.

Julian and I spent the night together while the others were still in the second floor most probably arguing with one another.
We were laying in his bed -fully dressed, without having done nothing more than just cuddling-. I loved his perfume and his hands that were all over me.
- I'm really tired.
I admitted after a lot of hours of conversation.
- You should sleep.
He said kissing my hair.
- And what if your friends come ?
I asked worried.
- They won't, trust me.
- Whatever you say mr. Draxler.
I responded giggling.
- I love you Lil.
- I love you too Jule.
I don't know how much time passed before I finally fall asleep. It didn't really matter. I remembered everything I did with Julian and for sure I remembered that. I had this as a proof to myself that he wasn't as Brine said he was.
