Lila

- Lila, wake up, we're there.
Someone was whispering in my ear. I opened my eyes seeing Meghan. For a moment I had no idea where I was. Looking around I undersrood that I was in a plane. And then I remembered. I was heading to Wolfsburg in order to destroy Julian's wedding. Only the thought was ridiculous.
- I can't believe we're actually going to do this.
- I can't believe you let him leave like that. But, I don't care as long as we're going to......
- Stop being so excited Meghan. It won't work anyway. Julian's a responsible adult, he won't let Vanessa down.
Meghan looked at me as if I was crazy.
- I think fever's getting the best of you. You have no clue what you're talking about.
She replied rolling her eyes.
- I know. But you're right about the fever. I'm cold.
- Poor Lila. You'll be better when having Julian again.
I was pretty sure that I couldn't have Julian again. Julian's always so kind, he never wants to hurt anyone. I can't imagine him hurting Vanessa.
Everything had happened so fast that I haven't realized what I'm going to do now. Meghan booked the next flight to Wolfsburg right after I told her that I agreed to stop Julian's wedding. I just packed a few things and here were we now. We were landing in Wolfsburg.
I really wish we were doing the right thing. But deep down, I knew we weren't.

- My advice's to have a nap, and I'll wake you up as long as Julian's heading back home.

I said pointing our hotel room.

She commented while sitting near me outside a cafe.

She added making me laugh.

I replied looking down. I wonder what would have happened, if I hadn't listen to his coach back then, and tried for our relation.

Meghan said and I smirked.

I smiled at her. She made me feel so much better.

She asked raising her eyebrows.

- Don't be stupid Lila. That's what friends are for. Besides, remember, if you're sad, then I'm sad too.
My eyes started filling with tears again. She was the best. Even if I couldn't have Julian, I'm glad I could have her.
- I'm sorry that we won't work together anymore.
I said wiping my tears away.
- Who cares ? You're lucky. Our job's way too boring. Omg, look the hottie came.
She said making me look at Julian's house.
- The hottie ?
I asked looking at her.
- Okay, I have to admit that he's a good looking man. A really good looking man.
She said looking back at me.
- Okay, what am I suppose to do now ?
I asked being anxious. That was the most difficult part in it.
- I don't know. I had no idea that we were really going to do this.

She said and I saw Julian getting inside his house. Okay, this was crazy. But we got till there. I had to do it.
- Alright I'm going.
I announced.
- You do ? I'm so happy for you.
Meghan said hugging me.
I hugged her back and I walked till Julian's house. I knew what I was doing was way too risky. Paparazzi could take photos of me here, easily and that could destroy everything. I looked at Meghan one last time and when she nodded I knocked at Julian's door.
I waited impatiently and after a minute Julian was standing in the door looking shocked at me.
- Hi, Julian.
I said inhaling deeply.
He was at a loss of words, he checked if someone was watching us and he lead me inside his house.
- What are you doing here ?
He asked. He was kind of mad. Well, this isn't what I expected. Actually it's exactly what I expected, but I really hoped I was wrong.
- I came here, cause I......I needed to talk to you..........
He didn't let me finish, he kissed me as passionately, as he had never kissed me before. I kissed him back and when we pulled away we were both breathless.
- I love you Lila.
- I know. I love you too.
I responded as steady as I could.
- I would do anything for you. You know that. Ask me and I will. Ask me to leave everything and come back with you and I will. Do you want me to leave Vanessa ? I will do it. I can't leave without you. Not anymore.
He said and he started kissing me again.
- Neither can I. You know, Thomas was a liar. I broke up with him. He had a plan with Kim, you know, just to make us give up on each other. They were both trying that.
I said and I forgot to breathe.
I remembered having the warnings with me and gave them to him.
- When have you received that ?
- The first time you left. Kim gave them to Cody.
- I knew I shouldn't have trusted her. She was supposed to give you a note explaining that I'll come back.
I felt my eyes filling with tears. Why was everything so complicated ?
- I'm so sorry Julian. I don't know what to say. I love you, I can't ask you to come with me in Munich though. Your carreer's the most important thing for you.
- It's not.
He replied smiling at me.
- It should be then.
- No. The most important thing in my life is you.
He said and I couldn't help but hug him.
- I'll try this time. I promise. I don't care about distance. But I have to go back to Munich. That doesn't change anything though. I need to find a new job firstly and then......
- What happened with the old one ?
- I got fired.
- I'm so sorry.
- No, need to. I deserved it.

His eyes filled with tears, and he took me in his arms. I started crying, thinking of how things have turned. It was easy for me to convince him not to marry Vanessa, the difficult part was for him. He had to tell her and I know that this could be totally painful. For both, cause I know that Julian had feelings for her even if they weren't as strong as they should be.
- Do me a favor Lil.
He whispered to my hair.
I nodded.
- Yes, anything.
- Head back to Munich. I promise to come myself. I don't want you to be here when this whole thing will be discovered by the paparazzi. They'll destroy your life.
He said kissing my forehead.
I nodded.
- Will do. Don't worry.
I responded.
- Wait for me. I promise to come.
- I will Julian. I can wait as long as you want me to. If needed, I'll wait forever.
