Chapter 34

~When we were in high school~

Julian

- Are you ready ?
She asked me knocking softly at my room's door.
- Yes.
I said while opened it.
- Hi Julian.
She said smiling.
- Hi, Lila. You came early.
I said and I leaned to kiss her.
- I know. I'm so excited, I couldn't wait.
She admitted.
- I'm glad to hear it.
I said and I hugged her making her giggle.
- Hello Lila.
Patrick said coming behind us.
- Hi, Patrick.
Lila, greeted him blushing. I wonder if she considered my brother handsome as well.
- Shall we go ?
He asked mainly looking at me.
- Sure.
I said and when he turned to leave I kissed Lila one more time.
She kissed me back smiling like an idiot and I smiled as well. I couldn't help it. Seeing her so happy, only made my day.

It was the first time, Lila was watching a match that I played for my club. Of course, she had watched me playing football a thousand times especially in school but that was different. And I felt that it was different. It was the first time in my life I wanted us to win and I also wanted to score. Lila was my motivation this day but I think she was also a motivation of mine every other single day. Watching her in the stands with my brother I felt so happy. I wanted to score, no I needed to score so to dedicate her all my goals. She was so important to me and that confused me. I have never fallen head over heels for any girl. Lila was different. She was cheering all the time motivating me even more.
After the end of the match, I approached her. She was smiling brightly.

He said pointing at my coache's direction who was speaking with another man whom I couldn't recognize.
Lila nodded, smiling at me and I left her so to go and talk to my coach.

He said smiling at me.
- You played really good today.
The other man said to me.
- Thank you sir.
I replied looking both at him and at my coach. That was it ? They wanted just to congratulate me ?
- Julian, mr. Jones wants to offer you a position at the Wolfsburg team.
I looked at both of them in desbelief. That was the best thing that has ever happened to me.
- Yes, that's right Julian. But I need to talk to your parents first. You should dicuss that with them carefully before you decide. It's a big deal. You should be sure about your decision. Don't hurry. Take your time. I'll wait. Here's my number.
He gave me a card with his number which I took with my hands shaking. I couldn't believe that this had just happened. These things don't happen everyday and for sure they don't happen to me.

I said again being more excited than have ever been in my life before. I couldn't wait to tell Lila, she would be really happy about me.

- They want me to join Wolfsburg.
I replied smiling at both of them giving my brother the card with mr. Jone's number.
- Really ? I'm so happy for you Julian.

Patrick said giving me a friendly pat in the shoulder.
- That's so nice. I can't believe that I date someone who'll be a futuristic player in Wolfsburg. Congratulations! I'm so happy for you.
Lila was as excited as I was. That made me regret the fact that I hadn't tell her earlier that I loved her.

- Okay, I have important stuff to tell you.
Brine said as she approached Lila. She then noticed me.

- Then I have to tell both of you important stuff.
She said looking at both of us.

Lila asked looking at her interested but I ignored her. My eyes were focused on Lila. She was looking too damn hot with her school uniform, with as always her messy, curly hair.

My mother stated looking worryingly at me.

She said looking away.
I couldn't believe that she was still considering that. It was a dream come true.
But I knew she wasn't going to turn that down in the end. She couldn't do such thing. She knew how important this was to me and that I had tried my hardest for it.
- I can do both mom. I can study and I can also play football.

My mother looked at all of us. I knew she wanted to say yes to this but she was hesitating.
