"Thanks. Enjoy the rest of the day." Bea said, waving goodbye to the customer who just bought the last box of cupcakes she made. It's mid afternoon and she maybe tired with all the work at the resto but she smiled anyway.

Cindy nudge her left arm. "That was fast. You totally nailed baking." she sounded so amused. "We're only halfway the day, yet you're pastries were all sold. That's amazing."

"I guess they really liked it." she said in full modesty.

"No, girl. They loved it." she pointed out.

She looks like she's genuinely proud of her.
And Bea smiled at her kind words. But the customers definitely love it, and after weeks of free stuffs, they started asking if they can buy dozens or boxes of it. And that's became Bea's cue to finally dive in into the business.

Now, she's been doing this for almost three months already and so far she's so much loving the result.

"I'll be in the office, just call me if you need me." paalam niya kay Cindy.

"Hi anak. Kamusta?"

"Very good."

"Don't tell me ubos na yung cupcakes mo."

"Actually, yes.

"I think you should make more next time.

Bea smiled, giving her head a little shake. "Mama talaga... Baka lumaki na ulo ko niyan."

"I'm just proud of you. Alam ko na kapag may ginagawa ka, you put your heart and soul to it. Kaya alam kong kaya mo. I know you that well." Nakangiting sabi nito sa kaniya.

"Thanks Ma."

Nagkangitian ang dalawa at sandaling natahimik. Then, they heard a knock. At pumasok si Liam.

"Liam, come in. May problema ba?"

"Wala po Tita." he answered. "I just want to tell na nandyan na po yung delivery ng supplies."

"Oh right. I almost forgot. Sige, lalabas muna ako." Paalam nito at saka tumayo. "Kayong dalawa mag-out na kayo. Kaya na namin dito. And it's your last day anyway." Sabi nito sa binata.

"Sige po. Thanks Tita."

"Last day?" tanong ni Bea kay Liam. Tumango naman ang binata. "Last day mo ngayon?" pag-uulit pa ni Bea.

"Yeah. I told you I have to go back to the Philippines for my graduation." he reminded her.
