Chapter 9: Answers? I Think Not

Kawaii~Chan watched with glowing eyes as Aphmau~Senpai began walking back to the direction of the others. 🤔

She shook her head. 😔

Kawaii~Chan's mind was in reel right now.🤕

She had just been going to get Aphmau~Senpai when bits and pieces of a interesting conversation floated into her fluffy ears.😳

Aphmau Senpai's name was Jess?😒

But that wasn't possible, was it?😑

Or had she'd been lying to Kawaii~Chan and her friends?😱

Shrugging it off, she decided it was the slip of the tongue.😝

Perhaps Sly~Kun had mistaken Aphmau~Senpai for someone else.😜

Kawaii~Chan walked off back to her friends. This was very curious news indeed.😉

Aphmau had met up with the others after the concert, managing (and barely) to escape obsessed fans and screaming girls.

The entire walk from the beach where the concert had been held, back to the house was silent, which was unusual seeing as her friends *cough, Kawaii~Chan, cough* were usually filled with energy and bouncing around, especially after they'd gotten to see a Sky Army concert.

In fact, most were giving her strange looks.

But then again, she had been screaming her face off with the guys, and it probably looked strange from a distance.

The warm breeze from the AC blasted Aphmau's face with heat as she sat down, exhausted on the couch in the patio downstairs.

The rest of her friends joined her, except for Zane who claimed he needed to 'catch up ' on his very 'adult show'. (Ahem, My Little Horsies, Ahem)

A few others, including Garroth, KC, and Travis headed their separate ways, Travis going to sleep, (the little lazy head) Garroth for an evening snack, (I swear his stomach is a bottomless pit) and KC who had gone to attend to 'personal matters' (Probably making another Shipping Shrine.)

Although Aphmau was absolutely devastated she couldn't watch the newest episode with Zane, she was still happy that she'd finally seen Sky and the most beautiful ship in the world, Mithross. (XD)

She sighed in content.

"Hey, uhhh, Aphmau?" Katelyn asked. "You okay?"

"Oh uhh yeah umm, YEAH! Why wouldn't I be?" Aphmau stumbled over her words.

"Okaaaaay... You were staring off in space grinning like somebody had just promised you cupcakes or something." Katelyn muttered.

"Sorry." Aphmau SHEEPishly rubbed the BAAAAck of her neck. (These puns are pure gold XD PJO reference! Or butter in Sky's case XD)

"Aphmau, I was wondering if you could answer some questions of mine." Katelyn bit her lip uncertainly. "It's about your other friends."

Aphmau froze. Uh oh.

Did they know?

How'd they find out?

WILL MITHROSS EVAH SAIL? 

"That is, if you're okay with that." Katelyn added.

Aphmau shifted her gaze. "Can we...?" She meekly pointed upstairs. "Talk alone?"

"Fine by me." Katelyn shrugged.

The dynamic duo trudged up the stairs and settled in Aphmau's room to speak.
