"Max, you go with Sky and Ross. I'll take Satiel, Castor, Sly. When the cameras go down, that means their down, and you can let the inner beast free." Jin explained. "Max, its best that you keep guard and also help Aphmau. As tough as she is, one person doesn't do good against all the security cams around."

"Got it man." Max started his way down the hall, Sky and Ross following close behind, persevering towards their goal.

Satiel simply shook his head. "I'll take the vents instead. You know me and open spaces don't do good."

Jin reluctantly nodded. "Alright, but meet us back at the kitchen."

"Crystal clear captain." Satiel winked and like a snake, he wandered off to the right hallway.

The sound of creaking metal and thumping was heard before a final clash signaled his entrance.

"Normally, I wouldn't spend my days walking through creepy hallways at the place we died trying to scare off a newbie, but for Jess's sake, I will." Sly shrugged, trying to light up a conversation.

The ambient darkness throttled ahead.

"True." Castor acknowledged thoughtfully. "My whole body's tingling to change right here right now."

"Tell me about it." Jin darkly stated, shifting uncomfortably as a few more cameras loomed out of the corners and crannies of the halls.

"So, where exactly are we going?" Sly asked.

"I was thinking the Cove."Jin adamantly admitted.

"Well, what gave you that gem of an idea?" Sly sarcastically smiled, but saddened his gaze.

Silence and nothing could be heard except for the occasional metal clangs from above.

Probably Satiel.

The Cove was open for all to see in its glorious, shiny purple curtains that formed a round, dome shape.

"I feel like criminals in action." Sly huffed out a laugh and between the curtains he vanished.

Castor practically dodged in, trying to avoid getting seen.

Jin pulled up the rear of the crowd, and took one last look at his own human hand before it turned black and spindly.

Max uncomfortably walked down the hallway.

He was used to being tall, but a adding an extra foot and a half to his height wasn't helping.

Ross was right behind him, and Max could see the side-affects it had taken on him.

On all of them.

"Hey Max bud, you okay?" Sky asked, snapping Max out of his trance.

"Y..yeah..." Max looked down and continued.

"You know, if there's anything ya wanna talk about, you have us Max." Ross reassured him.

It was comfort to Max that his friends would support him.

Yet it was also sad.

"This...plan Jess has. I have this weird feeling." Max stated after a minute of silence. "It's not everyday you try to scare Miku Impersonation, but still..." Max tried lightening the mood.

The shadows itself seemed to swallow up the happiness.

"When we...passed. I was so scared." Max hadn't even realized it, but small, crystal tears had made their way down his face. "All I remember is a flash of metal and the taste of my own blood. Then...black. It was dark. So so dark." Max remembered.
