Aphmau needed answers.

At one point, she'd been almost sure of everything mysterious happening, and almost gotten to the point she was sure nothing else could be out of her reach.

She could practically hear the heavens above laughing at her thoughts of glory.

HAHAHAH! WHAT A LOSER!

Nobody was going to be able to give these answers...

At least, nobody she could consider safe.

Aphmau was known for her stupid ideas (and she admitted it, looking back on them, some of them were really stupid).

But this was the only solution she currently had.

Maybe another one could come to mind, but she didn't have the time to sit around and wait for that solution to come.

"I'm heading out."

She should've known her approach was too abrupt because before she'd even made it halfway to the door, Aaron had grabbed her arm.

"Where are you going?"

Aphmau swallowed. "Out."

"Alright." Aaron released her arm, but had stepped in front of her, blocking the doorway. "Vague answer, I assume it's not safe?"

Aphmau didn't say anything, but raised an eyebrow. "I have to do this."

Aaron sighed. "And what exactly happened last time you were alone?"

Refusing to back down, her eyes changed to pleading and need. "Please Aaron, I'll be back before you even know it."

His eyes were unreadable, but his posture was relaxing. "Be safe."

"Thank you."

Without another word, she was bounding out of there like a rabbit. (I'm late, I'M LATE-)

She was there minutes later.

Of course, it was dim inside the restaurant, but did that stop her from finding him?

...

(Yes, it actually did, stupid doors-)

Time to use the Garroth-Cena strength she didn't actually have.

Just before her fist collided with the door, rather hesitantly so, it opened.

Staggering forward, she fell right into the doorstep.

"Clumsy as always."

Her eyes shot right up in panic.

Vincent Afton stood right there, looking rather rugged.

Hissing, she scrambled back a bit.

He raised an eyebrow. "I'm...unarmed."

"Your face says otherwise." She said, brushing herself off and standing to face him.

"You came for me." He said, smiling.

"Nuh-uh." Rather boldly, she pushed him backward with force she surprised herself with. "I came looking for you, and not for the reason you probably think

Walking in, the door slammed shut and she glared.

"Surprise me." He said.

"How'd you get this door open anyway?" She asked, unamused.

"I have my ways, you probably have yours."

Opening her mouth for a sharp retort, she closed it realizing anger probably wasn't gonna help her win this chat.
