Aaron didn't wish to be mistaken as an offender of the situation, but seriously.
Who in the name of Irene bothers to question how people dress?
So what if his body was showing, he was comfortable that way.
Honestly, people really needed to mind their own business.
It was angering, but anger was easily controlled.
Like emotions.
Like...other concepts.
"Ma'am, there's nothing wrong with-"
"HONESTLY!' The lady shrieked. "You boys have absolutely no sense of mannerism!"
Aaron decided to go for the next best option in such social situations.
Leave and drop the mic. (Just kidding, he didn't have a mic)
Aaron simply walked right out of that conversation.
Bye bye.
Somebody give him some sunglasses right now please.
"Hey! Don't just walk away like that!"
Aaron ignored her.
He didn't have time for this.
"Uh, hey Katelyn!" Aaron walked over to the blue-haired girl.
"Mmm?"
"Have you see Aphmau? It's nearly time and everybody else is on their way to the meetup place."
"Ah geez-" Katelyn shook her head. "I haven't been keeping track of time, but she went into that store."
On cue, Aphmau burst from the door screaming, "I'M LATE OHMYIRENE- Oh hi guys."
"You're not late, not yet anyway." Katelyn snorted. "And keep it down, I don't like drawing too much attention."
"Liar." Aphmau accused, but a small bag swayed from her wrist.
"Huh, did you buy something?" Aaron peered.
"Yeah, that store has really cool crystals that sparkle! It's so pretty, I wish I could've gotten more but I didn't have that much money left, so-"
Aphmau Aphmau," Aaron said. "Calm yourself, your babbling."
"I don't babble!" Aphmau screeched. "I merely...ramble."
"It's the same thing." Katelyn said.
"NUH-UH!" Aphmau hissed. "Babble is such an ugly word to use to describe MY angelic harmonies.
"Angelic harmonies?" The side of his lip lifted. "The only harmony I'm hearing are the sounds of silence coming from your mouth."
The indignant squawk was following by heavy footsteps in pursuit, but Aaron was already leaving her in the dust.
Katelyn was keeping up right behind him, laughing.
Aphmau, enraged, was like a rabid potato behind.
By the time they made it to the center of the plaza, nearly everybody was there. (With Dante as an exception, he had a date to catch)
A few groups were missing, so they hadn't been the only late ones.
"Took you long enough." Zane catcalled to them from a distance.
Zane was perched on the side of a large fountain in the direct middle of this centre.
Water spewed from stone dolphin's that jumped outward from the fountain and cast a shadow over Zane.
"Awww, is the sun a little too intense for you baby brother?" Garroth giggled.
