That's sanity for the dictionary.

Whatever, it's a noun.

The tie from your mental stability to the void and brink of ethereal no return.

That's sanity for Vincent.

Years ago, Vincent made his place by studying and getting degrees in engineering and life science.

Good grades, average dude, proud parents, same old life of a teen until his parents died.

A car crash to be exact. 

Neither had made it out alive.

Scarred, he trekked for his purpose in life.

And then he found it.

He built robots with spare junk, and sold what little he could.

He worked at a fast food restaurant for extra money just to build more of these robots.

He dedicated all his time and work into them.

...

Alone.

...

Life gets hard when your alone.

Life gets lonely.

Life gets dark.

It becomes a swallowing void of burden to carry.

It wasn't until he finally left that stinking fast food place did he a decent job with decent pay.

Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria.

The restaurant was your typical Chuckee Cheese ripoff, with cardboard pizza, cheap arcade mini games, and a worn down party room.

Hired volunteers dressed up as the restaurant's main mascots, in smelly, sweaty suits and danced with kids during the day, leaving the costumes at night.

It got rather...lame to see people do all the work.

So he concocted a plan.

Animatronics, robots from his tinkered creations would be maxed to their fulll potential and put into great work.

Taking off some shifts despite the lower pay, he spent days and nights into building his creation.

Months later, he finally finished.

Proud, gleaming robots glistened like shiny diamonds.

Brand new.

Not covered in scratches and dulled to lead like they were now.

The manager had been impressed by Vincent.

A pay raise, and the new robots were set free.

The restaurant gained popularity after that.

Crowds of people wanting to dine just for the sake of these new robots.

Vincent was happy at last, at perfect peace.

He was at his 'purpose' in life.
