And so our tale begins huh?

Well, it's been coming for a long time.

Dark secrets can't be kept with the blinding light of truth always casting its shadow there.

Nobody can find it in their hearts to hide for so long.

Not even the legend Irene. (Ironic cause technically Aphmau IS Irene, but this isn't MCD)

"A long time ago-"

"Don't tell me you're gonna go into story mode again..." Aaron groaned. (AYYYYYE DAT REFERENCE)

"Shush child! I am going into da storeh mode and you cannot staph meh!" Aphmau sassily 'z' snapped with perfect grammar.

Matron rolled her eyes but while she tried to hide it, there was no doubting the small hint of curiosity she was showing toward what Aphmau would say.

"Ahem, anyways-" Aphmau continued, "allow the story to proceed, shall we?"

"A long time ago, there was a child born on October 16th, 1978. The little girl was named Matron Jessica Aphmau Afton. Born to a loving family and a sarcastic, yet beautiful sister named Claire, Matron's first steps in life began."

"Can we skip the part that's all dramatic and just have you speak normally?!" Sky blurted irritably.

"Hey! It was getting good!" Garroth complained, intrigued by the story.

"Ugggggh fiiiine. If it suits you, then I'll tell the story normally." Aphmau rolled her eyes at Sky, playfully and annoyed.

"My name is Matron Jessica Aphmau Afton." Jess began. "I was born on October 16th, 1978."

"Wait, wouldn't that mean you should be..thirty something about now?" Aaron interrupted curiously, obviously confused by the age gap.

"Psshhh, whaaaaat?! Do I look thirty somethin'?!" Aphmau laughed, before turning serious, "Just listen up buttercup, and let storyteller Aphmau tell you the story of her life."

"Now, LETSAGO!" Aphmau let out one last bitter laugh before the true story began.

------

"As I grew up, I was a happy child. I had proper schooling, I think anyways, had quite a few friends, and perhaps had a somewhat general life back then.

Those few friends being Adam, or Sky, Satiel, Max, Ross, Castor, Sly, and Jin, and I know, not exactly a few huh?

Anyways, my family had always been kinda...different.

Mom was a crazy woman, not literally, she just has pretty weird obsessions sometimes. Claire could be an annoying older sibling sometimes, but she was the closest thing I had to a real 'gal' friend. But Dad...he was okay. Claire always told me he was a lot better when she was a kid. He just always seemed off and out of the right mind during some situations.

But life took a dark turn, as it likes to do.

It was my birthday party, and I'd invited all my friends. Unfortunately, Claire couldn't make it on time, extra stuff got her caught up, so Dad had to substitute.

I mean, it wasn't that I didn't trust him to watch over us, but usually it was Claire on the lookout for us. She didn't really mind coming because she got to call her friends on the phone and chat all the time.

But Dad, he was just so...odd sometimes.

Anyways, I was having the party at one of the restaurants I loved to go to, Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria.
