Vents are probably the most uncomfortable place ever to some people.
Especially if you were claustrophobic. (Like me, sadly ;u;)
Satiel remembered when he first encountered the vents.
His old childhood claustrophobia had gotten the better of him.
He couldn't even stand his own closet, much less a ventilation tunnel that would mean crawling, cramped and hardly any room to move.
But then, his 'robotic' instincts had shoved him forcefully to crawl, and at some point in time, the fear digested itself into curiosity.
Trying out his new found interest, he'd began trying out vent-crawling at home, much to his friends' surprise, and managed to work his way around the fear and be able to slither in and out like a snake.
Unseen, and unknown.
But not unheard.
He knew every time his foot hit the metal walls a bit too harshly, that same sound echoed throughout the hallways.
Even the tiniest whisper could be heard.
So that's why he'd developed a quiet sense of things.
People often think thought it was because he was shy, but that wasn't the case.
The sheer silence of crawling through vents had deafened some part of his original voice.
As the cold metal pressed itself against his hands, his eye flickered below as he approached another vent from above.
A bright light shined past him.
Finally.
With a snap of his fingers, darkness surrounded the entry way.

"Awwww yeah! If forgot how cool this could be sometimes!" Sly maniacally grinned.
A small pair of fox ears sprouted like springs from his head, and his black hair tinged itself with the maroon color of rust. A single golden eye danced like a flame and a black eyepatch suited itself onto his other eye.
His smile was genuinely sly, no pun intended (You sure bout that mate? XD), as if he were constantly thinking of new ideas to prank people.
Castor had indigo, long, bunny ears that stood straight up, and magenta eyes. His hair, alas, remained the same, (Although some could swear it was hinted violet) but Castor didn't seem to care.
A small red bow tie had adjusted itself into his neck, only giving him a more 'Bonnie'-like appearance.
Although Jin knew there was science behind their undead hearts that somewhat beat, deep inside, he knew there was no way a bow tie, eye patch, or top hat could materialize from scientific measures.
Something's are better left stayed a secret, huh? (Very true. Like how I somehow get dreams of the future...no joke...)
"Jin buddy, looking a bit pale there." Sly jokingly smiled.
It wasn't meant to be offensive, some should realize, but as a simple way of expressing humor even in the darkest moments.
It was true.
Jin's face was white as fresh printer paper, and lined on his cheekbones were rosy splotches of an over-exaggerated blush. Black eyes with pinpoints of white had streaks of purple, stripe-like tears, underlining his features. His hands were long and spindly with fingers that reminded him gruesomely of spider legs.
It was like he was death itself.
"I feel like the freaking Easter Bunny." Castor rubbed his ears. "A very purple Easter Bunny."
"Oh god, me eyes!" Sly pretended to shield his eyes from Castor, taking on a pirate accent. "No need to put that image in ma head ya scumbag!"
"..."
A dead silence fell for a split second.
"Sooooo...." Sly fiddled his fingers together. "What now?"
"Well, we have to meet Satiel and the others at the kitchen, assuming Aphmau's succeeding in distracting-"
Right on cue, a girl's scream wrung the corridor like a fading echo.
"I should've seen this coming." Castor impulsively leaped from the curtains. "Come on, we have to go!"
"Wait!" A silky thread shot from Jin's fingertips and tied around Castor's arm, pulling the bunny shifter backwards. "The generator! It's only one hallway away! If we manage to get there and close it..."
"One step ahead of ya dude." Sly darted like a mouse, and weaved himself to the right-hand entrance. "Lets go!"
***
Aphmau skittered to a halt.
An open doorway in front of her led to a generator.
It was a large, metal box with a steel lever sticking out from the side.
An 8-bit screen glared back with a battery percent charger that showed 1/3 left of remaining power.
Carefully not to make noise, Aphmau stepped into the doorway.
And greeted absolute chaos.
***
Jin knew the second they turned down the hallway, they were screwed.
The sounds of yelling came from another hallway not too far.
"Hurry!" Sly barged forward down the hall to reach the generator.
***
Max, Sky, and Ross were all in a currently bad situation.
With an athletic, angry security guard after them, all boys ran for their freaking lives.
Ross and Sky hadn't even had time to fully process the transformation before they'd been turned headfirst into the blue haired girl.
Ross still had bits of blonde stripes trickling down his face, and luminous purple eyes jolted in a frenzy of panic. A bib that read: Let's Eat!, flailed like a flag from his neck.
Sky's hair was a mixture of chocolate brown, and sour yellow, creating the perfect impersonation of Max when small bear ears, and a shiny top hat made their way onto his head.
Twinsies.
Hardly the time to be thinking about that.
Without even thinking, they made a sharp left, only to begin approaching a room labeled: Generator.
***
All three groups charged.
One consisting of Aphmau.
One consisting of Sly, Castor, and Jin.
One consisting of Sky, Ross, Max, and a very pumped Katelyn after them.
And a very annoyed Satiel. (Mainly because he didn't get his batteries)
And all three were charging.
Charging straight for a collision course.
