Aphmau loves cats.

Aphmau loves purple.

Aphmau loves....(REVOLUTION!)

Purple cats.

Okay, joking aside, Aphmau wasn't expecting the talking purple cat to actually talk.

She'd been joking (mostly) when taking to the cat.

But the cat responded.  "Meow."

It wasn't the normal cat 'meow' however, it was a very sarcastic, very human 'meow.'

What are they teaching cats these days?

Hopefully nothing too bad.

"That wasn't a normal meow!" Aphmau hissed, looking the now-silent cat in the eyes. "What are you?!"

"Rude."

"So you can talk!" Aphmau triumphantly screeched.

Passerby gave her weird looks.

"Hey Aphmau?" Katelyn looked slightly concerned for the mental well being of her friend. "Are you okay over there?"

"I'm fine Katelyn! But I have made a new discovery! Haha!" Aphmau glanced back at the cat, who was now lazily stretching and yawning.

"If you say so." Katelyn shook her head, and went back to looking at a few bead bracelets on display on the shop next door.

"Are you a shapeshifter?" Aphmau squealed to the cat.

"No." The cat's right eyelid twitched.

"Can you say more than one word?"

The cat pondered this. "No."

"Awwww, it would be nice if you could say more."

"Yup."

"Sooooo, what exactly are you doing..." Aphmau gave a quick glance above to look at the store. "At O-Rachael's?"

The name sounded like a pun of some sort.

"Home." The cat said.

"Ooo! What's your name?"

The cat thought about this too. "Purriosa."

"Nice to meet you Purriosa!"

"Same."

"Oi!" A redhead stomped out of the store. "Purriosa? Where'd ya run off to this time?"

"Here." Purriosa jumped up and strutted to the redhead.

"Ah, there you are, my little violet fluff ball!" The girl looked up, and smiled.

She couldn't of been older than Aphmau, maybe even younger. 

"Are you Rachael?" Aphmau questioned.

"Oh." The girl looked in distaste at the store name. "No no, that's the name my mom picked out." The girl huffed. "Ugh, honestly, she thought naming it after some character from a book series would be comical because this is a fortune shop. O-Rachael, Oracle? Get it?"

Aphmau chuckled. "Well, your mom's got good taste for word play."

The girl's scowl softened. "Yeah yeah, she can be a huge dork."

"And you aren't?" Aphmau teased.

"Hey!" The girl's forest green eyes sparkled. "You don't even know me!"

"Introductions then?"

"Kiki. I also work over at the pet store, which is connected to this shop. Though, I just got off like, 8 minutes ago. My shift's over for now. In the meantime, I work here!"
