The Last Perry Party?!

━━━━━━━━━

"She's getting married?" Leo breathed in question as the six of us rode along in the limo my dad had sent for us. The weirdo wanted to ensure that the six of us did attend this shindig. I rolled my eyes as I leaned into the leather seat at the back of the limo next to Chase.

"Leo, you've said that like twenty thousand times since yesterday. Yes. She is. Get over it." I said as I curled into Chase's side, playing with the fabric on my sea-foam, two piece dress. He laughed quietly as he threw his arm over my shoulder. We were all dreading this night. But there was no need to complain before it even started. That was for afterwards. Who didn't know that?

"Fine. But I will not get over it. Who would marry that woman?" Leo rambled as he threw his hands up in the air. I laughed and nodded.

"Agreed with that. That's the first thought that popped into my head the second I heard it." I conquered before feeling the group fall into a kind of silence. I glanced out the window around Chase to see we were pulling onto her street. Well, this should be fun. Why would we need to be there to celebrate Perry getting married? That was the part that still confused me. That and-

"I didn't even know she was dating anyone." Jannel finished aloud for me. I nodded along with the others as the car came to a stop. I sighed before Chase dropped his arm to his side, opening the car door for us and hoping out in front of me. Chase held out his hand for me, me taking it happily as he pulled me out. I stumbled slightly as my feet hit the sidewalk, Chase reaching out and grabbing me. I laughed as Leo got out and saw the position we were in.

"Well it's good to know everything's back to normal around here." He pointed out, sending me a suggestive glance. I rolled my eyes before he threw his fist up into the air. "Go buddying romances!" He cheered. I bit into my lip to hold back my smile as Chase removed his hands from my sides. Adam closed the door to the limo soundly, being the last one out, before the six of us made our way up to the front door. I plastered on a sweet smile as a new body guard stood out in front of the main door, holding his clipboard in his hands as his eyes met ours. Chase stopped us, waiting for the introductions to come up.

"Names." He ordered bluntly. Well at least he belonged at the Perry Residence. His attitude fit perfectly along with Perry's.

Chase smiled politely before beginning, "I'm Chase Davenport. This here, is Bree Henderson, and behind us are the newlywed Dooley couple, Leo and Jannel, and the engaged Greenberg couple, Adam and Caitlyn." The man nodded, crossing off our names quickly before pushing the door open at his right side, motioning us inside.

"Thank you." I said as we made our way through the doors and into the main hallway. I took in a deep breath as we made it inside, feeling almost as if that was a third of the battle, in a way. Now all we had to do was witness the marriage announcement, and we would be done. We could sneak out before nine. Only two hours away... This was going to suck.

"Anyone ready for this or are we all just going to stand here and wait for the action to come to us?" Leo teased before pushing Chase and I forward. "The whole reason we're here is because of you guys' parents. You go first." Leo prodded before Chase and I began the trek towards the door that would lead to the ballroom.

I sighed and grabbed onto Chase's hand, not caring what anyone thought for the moment. Our date night was ruined because of this, anyways. Might as well make the best of it. Chase nodded to himself before using his right hand to push the double doors open, seeing the biggest Perry Party to date open before us. My eyebrows popped up as I glanced around to the fancy dresses and three piece suits, not coming across my dad, Davenport, Tasha, or even the hostess herself. I had no clue what her soon to be, or should I say current husband, looked like anyways. So there was no point in looking for that mess. I pulled Chase over to the side, the others following as we stopped over at a small window that looked into some private hallway we had never been in.
