Bonus Chapter {March Of 2016}

March of 2016

"Chase!" I called from the other side of the suite. I think the best thing about 'living' in New York, was the fact that we were living in the hotel that our family created. New York had been okay, considering we had already been here about four or five months. It sucked that we couldn't have been there to see the babies being born. But trust me when I say we were there. Oh the magic of modern technology and Leo's ability to zoom.

"Yeah?" Chase called back. He was sitting on the long couch that took up the majority of the living room. I held a wide grin on my face as I hopped over the back of the couch, my feet bouncing against the cushions as I took a quick seat next to him.

"Leo and Adam sent more photos of the babies." I smiled happily. He laughed and shook his head, holding out his hand for my phone. I handed it to him, watching as his face changed along with each of the insanely adorable photo of the three babies. That's right, three babies. Leo and Jannel had twins!

"They do realize they Skyped with us the entire time during the babies' birth, right?" Chase laughed. He kept trying to play things cool, but I could see that little glimmer in his eyes. He wanted a baby, too. Not that I didn't, I just wasn't sure when it would happen.

"They're just excited." I huffed as I ripped the phone out of his hands. "You'll be the same way when we have a kid."

"Or kids?" Chase suggested, giving me a knowing look as he pushed his laptop off his lap. He scooted over to me, putting his arm around my shoulders as I pulled up the most recent text from Adam. "They finally named the babies?" I nodded, clicking onto the video that Adam sent to me. "I swear if they gave the twins names that start with the same letter or after some comic book character-"

"Shh!" I hissed as the video started playing.

"Ah." Adam breathed as he held up the camera to his face.

Leave it to Adam to take the video on selfie mode.

"Hey guys. The babies and Jannel are asleep so we thought the four of us would make a fun little video to officially introduce you to them." He had the biggest smile on his face.

God I hated that we had to miss that. I hated that we even had to miss seeing this in person.

"Here's Leo..." Adam left off as he gave the phone to Leo.

"Be quiet." Leo shushed, shaking his head before looking over to the camera. "Anyways. The twins are sleeping next to Jannel... Who is also sleeping." Leo smiled slyly as he made his way over to his wife of just over a year.

Jannel was fast asleep on the bed, one baby on either arm. Somehow, Jannel had made it through both a pregnancy with twin boys, and the labor for twin boys.

"This right here, is Caleb Lenard Dooley. We wanted to appease Jannel's dad, Lenard, and give Caleb the same middle name." Leo explained as he gently rubbed the baby's small hairs. "And this guy over here, is Gabriel Eli Dooley. No family connections, I just thought the name was cool. I'm going to call him Gabe for short." Leo smiled happily as he handed the phone back to Adam. The camera was on the both of them now.

"The twins were born about three days before our baby." Adam started again. "They were born on March 19th, 2016, one at three twenty two, and one at three thirty in the afternoon. Gabe is older. Caleb was seven pounds two ounces, and Gabe was six pounds, four ounces." Adam elaborated, getting an odd concentration look on his face as he spoke.

"And now for our third and final baby." Leo smiled widely as he hopped across the room to Caitlyn.

Somehow, and I don't know how, the four were in a shared room. This room held one Adam, one Leo, two new moms, and three babies. You would think the six of us would grow tired of each other, especially after childbirth, but apparently we can't stay apart.

Adam jumped ahead of Leo and took the phone back. "This little guy," Adam paused as Caitlyn looked up to him, a small smile on her face.

"This, is Landon Louis Greenberg." Caitlyn whispered as she pushed the blanket out of his face, Adam getting a closeup of the cute little baby boy.

"He was born on March 21st, 2016 at five fifty three in the morning." Adam whispered on. "He was five pounds, seven ounces, and literally hasn't slept since then... Until now. An entire thirty six hours later." Adam laughed gently. Leo popped back up into the camera's view.

"He's gonna be the new Leo of the group." He nodded happily. Adam rolled his eyes, bringing the camera back in on he and Leo as the two walked back over to the far side of the room.

"We really miss you guys, and we're pretty sad that you could you two couldn't be here to meet the babies." Adam whispered.

"Especially when they were fresh out of the oven." Leo got out before Adam slapped him. "Owe!"

"Shhh!!" Adam and Caitlyn shushed.

"But, at least you guys got to meet them, and see them over video right when they were born." Adam shrugged, looking to Leo.

"We can't wait for you guys to get back." Leo smiled.

"We love you guys and get home soon!" The two cheered happily before the video cut out.

I could feel tears welling in my eyes as Chase pulled me into his chest. He took hold of the phone and locked it before wrapping his arms tightly around me. "I miss them." I whined, getting a small laugh from Chase.

"We..." He trailed off, not knowing where to go with it. I didn't really need anything reassuring from him. We both knew we still had over six months to be here. We just had to stick it out. And we were having a pretty good time considering we just got married... Again. "We'll be home before you know." He shook his head, pressing a kiss to my cheek. I nodded.

"I know. I'm just happy I get to be here with you." He smiled, looking down into my eyes.

"Hey, who knows. Maybe we'll come home with a baby in the oven." I closed my eyes with his use of the sentence.

"That's definitely not how that goes."
