Water Slide, Anyone?

I shook my head as I clasped my hand around Chase's, the two of us leading Jack and Kim on a whirlwind adventure. Leo and Adam were kind of being buzz kills at the moment. I understood Adam wanting to look nice for the rehearsal dinner, but Leo?We had been to his wedding already. Then there was Jannel, but that was a whole other story.

"Do you guys just do stuff like this?" Jack asked as I glanced back at the two. I nodded, getting a short chuckle from Chase and Jack. Kim rolled her eyes and grabbed onto her boyfriend's hand, the four of us continuing down the hallway and then up the next flight of stairs. "You know, there's these things called elevators-"

"Lame." I shot back as I climbed up the stairs with Chase. It was true. How much fun was a ride up to the second-to-top floor when you could climb the stairs and race around the hallways? I had always preferred to do things like this, and so did Chase. We always ended up in some mad cap situation together while we were in a hotel. It's a surprise we don't travel more often. "Jack, what would you rather do? Take the elevator or do this? Because this, is ten times more fun." Kim laughed as the two trailed along behind us, Chase squeezing my hand as we finally got to the right floor.

"Woah." Kim breathed as she walked over to the window. I could feel my mouth drop as we got to the window, all four of us with our eyes on the view. From up here, we could see the whole resort. The sun was just starting to set, leaving the sky with a yellow glow. I quickly slapped Chase on the arm, pointing over towards the far end of the resort. I had never seen anything like it.

"Look." I whispered, a sly smile growing on each of our faces as Kim caught onto where we were looking. No that, would be something we would never forget. We're probably only going to be in Jamaica once, anyways. What harm would it be to head down there sometime tonight?

"Please tell me we're doing that after this dinner?" Kim asked hopefully, pointing out the space out for Jack. Jack rolled his eyes playfully as his phone began to buzz. "I'm not looking forward to making small talk with Adam and Caitlyn's families."

"Or we could go during." I teased, getting a smile from Chase. "How exciting can this dinner be, anyhow? The only part in looking forward to is finding out where we need to walk." Jack shook his head, laughing at me once more he waved over towards the other end of the hall.

"Leo just texted. Everyone's waiting on us." Jack relayed, sending me a look. "We can take the elevator this time, right?" I laughed and nodded as the four of us walked over towards the middle of the hallway. Jack hit the down button as Chase and I leaned back against the wall. I wonder what the roof looks like. The view from this floor was amazing to say the least. It had to be ten times better from up there. Speaking of the roof.

"I never asked." I started as I looked between Chase and Jack. "How did the bachelor party go?" The two froze as the elevator doors opened. I could feel my mind begin to wander as the four of us got inside. Kim started to laugh as she patted Jack on the arm, her boyfriend clicking on the fourth floor button during the silence. There was a patio area on the fourth floor. That was where the dinner would be held.

"Maybe we don't want to talk about it." Jack said, placing his hands behind his back. I looked over to Chase.

"Or maybe we're sworn to secrecy." Chase laughed as I slapped him again. Kim rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest.
