Bonus Chapter {October Of 2015}

October of 2015 - Two Months Since Bree and Chase's Wedding

"Bree." Chase stepped in suddenly, reaching out for my hand to pull me aside. We had been spending the night celebrating the fact that Caitlyn and Jannel's babies were only four months away. This was basically a baby shower, but exclusive to our group since none of our parents got along. That, and Caitlyn's parents were going through a pretty messy divorce. Plus the fact we all had no other friends.

"What's up?" I asked as he pulled me down the hallway and away from the group. Jannel and Leo's house was just as amazing as our's was. Of course our house held a special place in my heart. Chase shook his head, pushing his phone into his back pocket nervously as a serious look took place on his face. "Is everything okay?" I whispered, grabbing onto either one of his hands. Something was up. Something serious.

"I have something huge to ask of you." Chase started, his hands shaking against my own. I could my lips curing into a frown with his words.

"What is it?" I tried once more, still unknowing of what he was trying to tell me. This had to be incredibly important, especially if Chase had needed to take me aside. We shared everything with our friends.

"Since I've taken over the company, I've been able to get ahold of the plans our dad's made. The different goals that they wanted to accomplish by a certain time." Chase explained. "One of the major points that they wanted to get to around to at this time, was expanding the company to another location." Chase left off, his explanation finally allowing everything to click for me. "The city they wanted to expand to was, ideally, New York, since that's where the hotel was set up at." Chase relayed.

"So we have to go to New York." I nodded, letting my mind wrap around this whole thing. I knew married life would be hard, but not this hard. We had to move? "For how long? Or is it-"

"It's not permanent." Chase shook his head. "We've gotten the land, and the building's already up. But the interior construction for the industry, the permits and everything else, could take up to a year." Chase elaborated, his expression showing how nervous he was. He wasn't nervous about the work though. Chase was nervous about how I would react to this whole thing. I nodded.

"So we move to New York for a year." I sighed, my eyes wondering back over to our four best friends.

"I, have to move to New York." Chase corrected quietly. "If you wanted to stay here-"

"No." I cut him off. "I'm not letting you leave by yourself. That two months we spent apart was way too long, and that was before we were married." I shook my head, trying to force the horrid memory behind me. "If you were gone for an entire year..." I left off, not able to finish my sentence. He nodded as he reached out to place his hands on my waist.

"I'm not going to leave you then." Chase whispered as he leaned in and pressed a quick kiss to my forehead. "We'll leave together."

"When do we have to go?" I whispered, glancing back to see the others watching us intently. "We'll miss the babies being born." I bit into my lip, trying to stop myself from crying right then and there. I couldn't leave them.

"I know." Chase whispered, his voice cracking somewhere in the middle of his small sentence. "We have to leave in two weeks. We won't be back until November next year." Chase said, the both of us getting quiet as Adam and Leo made their way over to us.

"What's up with you two?" Leo asked as he motioned between the two of us. "You're more touchy-feely than normal." I rolled my eyes, not making a move to get away from Chase, however.

"Are you guys pregnant too?" Adam asked in shock as I shook my head.

"No, Adam. We actually..." I left off as I looked to Chase for help.

"We have to move to New York." Chase finished for me. "For a year. We won't be here with you guys to..." Chase trailed off, not having it in him to finish the sentence. Adam nodded, holding out his arms to us before Leo lunged onto him. Adam wobbled backwards a bit, reaching out and catching onto the doorframe at the side to balance himself against Leo. I rolled my eyes, pulling Chase with me as the four of us came together for a group hug.

"This may sound incredibly sarcastic." Leo started with a sly smile. "But I will miss you guys."

"We'll miss you too." I breathed against Chase, never wanting this moment to end. I hated that we had to leave them.

"But you guys better bring us back some pizza."
