Aren't You Pregnant and Only Married in Vegas?

━━━━━━━━━

"You two are married?" Leo and Adam yelled in synch. I could feel my heart fall to my stomach as I slowly, and warily, looked back to them. Both their mouths were hanging open while Leo held his hands on either side of his head in shock. Adam simply stood there, his arms stiff as he let the information sink in.

"Yeah..." I pressed my lips together as we waited for some other reaction to take place. I really didn't want them to find out this way. If anything, I had half pictures telling them when they were drunk. Which, under the rules my dad gave us, later tonight would have worked just fine.

"So," Adam paused as he finally took a step forward, stopping as he got to the bottom of the two steps, "When?" I huffed out a breath as I dropped my hand from Chase's, waving a quick goodbye to our parents as I shuffled Adam and Leo out of the place. I didn't feel like telling the story to everyone. Not when we had just told our parents, anyways.

"Tell us." Leo whined, Chase catching up as I opened the door that would take us out of the Davenport Mansion. Chase shut the door behind us as we slowly made our way back to my old backyard. There, by a bonfire, sat Kim, Jannel, and Caitlyn, all in their swim suits and ready to swim as they engaged in small talk. How fun for us.

"What's happening?" Kim wondered aloud as she jumped up from her seat, seeming worried something ten times more major than this was going on, I shook my head and walked over, placing my hand on my shoulder to reassure her.

"Nothing." I said as I shook my head.

"Nothing?" Leo repeated as he walked over, girlishly placing his hands on his hips for dramatic affect. "Would you call our two best friends, who were supposedly broken up, getting married sometime earlier, nothing?" I rolled my eyes as Chase stepped in between us, Adam nodding as he went along with Leo.

"No-"

"You two got married!" Jannel and Caitlin shrieked in synch as they hopped up from their seats. I sighed and nodded as I ran my fingers through my hair. Was it hot out here, or was it just me?

"So?" I questioned, a sarcastic tone to my voice as I spun around to face the pool, crossing my arms over my chest. I could hear the others scoff at my plea, ignoring it and continuing to blurt questions Leo and Adam's way.

"When did this happen?"

"How did this happen?"

"Why didn't you two tell us?" Jannel asked as I could hear her make her way over to me. I shrugged and looked over to her as she stood next to me.

"We wanted to see if it would work out before we broke the news." I explained as I finally turned to look back at the others. "After what I did, and after Chase was gone for two months, we weren't sure if everything would still be the same. We loved each other, and still do, but we didn't know how our relationship had changed." Chase nodded and walked over to my side, grabbing onto my hand and clutching it tightly.

"Don't get mad," He started, watching as everyone practically leaned in, "But we got married in Vegas." The fours' eyes went wide as Kim took a seat on a log near the bonfire, completely un-phased by the situation. She did look kind of amused, though. Sneaky child.

"When, did you get married?" Jannel asked, her tone slowly growing more angry as the conversation continued. I screwed my eyes shut as I dared to say my next words.
