Chapter 28 - Funeral & Tears

On the same day after school...

Natsu's P.O.V

Man! Finally! School is over! Me and the rest of the gang are gonna visit Luce and her mom.

Normal P.O.V

Everyone went in their respective limos and all of the limos went towards the direction of the Heartfilia pack.

But they weren't prepared for the sight that was ahead of them...

" WHAT THE HELL?! " Natsu shouted as he ran out of his limo and saw that the path to the Heartfilia pack was blocked by fires and another limo with smoke around it.

" WHAT'S GOING--LUCE?! " Natsu was horrified, seeing his mate in a horrible state.

" Call the Heartfilia's phone! Call their alpha! Hurry up! " Natsu shouted orders as the rest came out of their limos.

" Oi, flame brain, what's going--IS THAT LUCY?! " Gray was horrified.

The others gasped. They couldn't believe that their friend, Lucy, and her mother, Layla, was all bloodied in front of them.

" Guys! Their driver is here! Unconscious and hit his head hard! " Mira shouted out as she inspected the limo to see Capricorn with blood trickling down his head.

Soon enough, they could hear the paws of wolves coming to their direction and out came Jude and his guards.

Jude's wolf whimpered when he saw his mate and daughter in a terrible state. He barked to his guards and two of the wolves went forward to pick up the two girls.

The other three went to pick up Capricorn. Natsu went in front of Lucy.

" I'm bringing Luce. " he said firmly as he gently picked Lucy up.

He could heard her taking in unsteady shallow breaths. Her body was all bruised up with some blood. He immediately took off running.

Soon, he could see the mansion and stopped in front of the door. There was an old lady with pink hair, waiting.

" Put her on the stretcher. I'll take care of her now. " the lady said.

Natsu did as he was told as the others came running in with the other wolves carrying the other two bodies.

" Wendy! Come here and help me. Your mother is arriving soon to help. " the lady said as she turned to go inside while the wolves put the bodies on the stretcher and carried the stretcher inside to the infirmary.

" Hai, Poryluscia-san! " Wendy agreed with determination and followed after her.

As they entered the infirmary, everyone was not allowed inside and they observed what they are doing through the window.

Wendy tied her hair up into a high ponytail and wore clean plastic gloves and started work on Capricorn.

Poryluscia was checking with Layla. She had inserted an IV already and was cleaning her body thoroughly. Then, Grandine rushed in already with plastic gloves on her hands which were clean and spoke with Porylusica.
