Chapter 14 - Study Session : Gajeel & Levy

After school...

Levy's P.O.V

" Dammit. " I muttered as I tried to reach for a book on a high shelf.

I was struggling to get it cause of my height. Curse my height. At least let me grow a bit taller. I was on the ladder and since I was moving around, the ladder was moving as well.

" EEP! " I squeaked since I lost my balance and was about to hit the floor.

But I didn't, strong arms caught me. I looked up to see Gajeel's face.

" Gihi, struggling, Shrimp? " he asked gleefully.

I lightly punched his arm and pointed to the book I wanted. He raised a brow since I used actions instead of words.

He put me down and grabbed the book I wanted. Immediately, my eyes lit up and I smiled so wide that I think it's the most widest smile I've ever done.

" You looked cute using actions instead of words. " Gajeel mumbled.

I faintly heard what he said but still blushed but he didn't see it as my back was turned to him.

" I'll meet you at your house. " I quickly said before leaving the library.

I quickly went back home and changed out of my school attire to a casual human outfit that I bought and some assessment books I didn't use when I was younger.

I wore a sleeveless peach blouse, a pair of blue jeans and simple brown sandals. I brought along with me a simple brown sling bag.

I kept my orange headband and hurried to my limo. I checked that everything was in my bag along with my phone and told my driver to go to Gajeel's mansion.

At the Redfox's mansion...

" HOW CAN YOU FAIL YOUR MATHEMATICS TEST?! " Metalicana roared at his son.

Gajeel rolled his eyes. He hates it when his father gets worked up about him failing a test.

" That's why shrimp is coming here to tutor me. " Gajeel said in a 'duh' tone of voice.

" You better get a good grade then since she's tutoring you. " Metalicana mumbled.

" Go and get ready. "

Gajeel left after he said that and went up to his room.

" Gajeel...you got it wrong again! " Levy whined.

She's been teaching Gajeel his multiplication again and he sucked at it.

'No wonder he got nine questions wrong about multiplication. He's so bad at it.' Levy thought to herself as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

" Gajeel you carried the two here wrong so you multiplied the wrong number. " Levy explained as she circled the two in his working.

" This is too hard... " Gajeel mumbled.

" It will be harder if you don't make an effort! " Levy scolded.

" Alright let me teach you the correct way and memorise the concept. " she stated firmly as she took the pen from him and started to teach him.

" Okay so nine plus four is in a bracket and then beside it is the symbol to multiply five then divide by nine and finally plus two. What do you get? "

" Uh...9.3? " Gajeel asked more than answered.

" Baka. It's 9.222. " Levy corrected.

" Then, you multiply it by four. What do you get? "

" If you get it correct I'll buy you some food tomorrow. " Levy bribed.

Immediately, Gajeel scribbled furiously on the paper to get it right.

" Uh...its um...36.888? " Gajeel answered.

" Correct! But it says to round it up to one decimal place. So, what's the final answer? " Levy asked excitedly, hoping that Gajeel would know the answer.

" 36.8? "

Levy anime falls to the floor. She revived quickly by pure anger.

" GAJEEL! IT'S SO EASY! YOU SEE THE SECOND DECIMAL PLACE RIGHT? IT SAYS 8! AND WHEN THE NUMBER IS 5 AND ABOVE...YOU ROUND UP AND IF IT IS 4 AND BELOW...YOU ROUND DOWN! SO WHAT IS THE NEXT NUMBER AFTER 8?! "

" Uh...9? "

" EXACTLY! SO THE ANSWER IS 36.9! " Levy was seriously angry.

" Now...if you get this test of mine more than 55 marks, I'll buy you food tomorrow. " Levy gave him a piece of worksheet and he started doing it.

" Gajeel... " Levy was at a loss for words.

" YOU ONLY SCORED 39 MARKS! THAT IS EVEN LOWER THAN YOUR ACTUAL TEST MARKS!!! " Levy was seriously losing hope at how he is doing.

She then started to teach him the basics and everything that they learned for the year slowly.

" Gajeel...please do your best at this one. Or else I'll be haunted in my sleep that you will fail your make-up test. " Levy pleaded as Gajeel was doing his test.

" Oh my god...YOU SCORED 74 MARKS!!! "

Levy squealed and hugged Gajeel which caused him to fall down on his back.

" Gihi. So you won't be haunted anymore, then? " Gajeel asked.

" Mm-hmm! I'll buy you food tomorrow! " Levy said happily.

Then, someone knocked on the bedroom door and creaked open. There stood a maid.

" Sir Gajeel- " she was cut off since she saw Levy on top of Gajeel.

To the maid, she thought that it was a compromising position.

" E-Eh?! I-I'm so sorry to disturb you! " the maid squeaked and quickly closed the door shut.

The two still didn't know that their position was compromising until a light bulb shone above her head.

" EH?! " Levy quickly got off of Gajeel and rushed out of the room and started looking for the maid to explain what's going on.

" I'm so sorry to jump to conclusions! " the maid apologised to Levy who was trying to calm her down.

" I-Ie. Daijobu. " she said as she glanced at the maid and switched her gaze to Gajeel who passed her her bag.

" You better do well, Gajeel. " Levy said before she went inside her limo.

" Sure, sure. " he said as her limo drove off into the distance.
